Our guide Tome was amazing! He was timely, welcoming, and most importantly ensured that everyone was cared for and safe. He gave very clear instructions about how to operate the vehicle and safety instructions. We went at night during a snow storm - it was quite the experience even though we didnt see the lights. The ride also seemed very long! Very worth it. I am so glad we booked this last minute as it created wonderful memories for our time in Finland.

Although we didn't catch any fish as expected, the whole trip was very fulfilling and fun. The tour guide and driver was very professional and responsible, and the food was delicious. It is recommended that you wear warm insoles when changing into the snowshoes provided by the tour guide. The temperature on the ice lake was extremely low. Even after wearing three layers of socks, my feet were still freezing.

Our guide was determined for us to see the lights and we stayed out over our expected time . He made a good experience great

My husband and I had the best day trying ice fishing. The day was well paced, not rushed. Arto taught us what we needed to know and let us go ahead with it. Lunch in the teepee was a lovely experience. The sled ride was mesmerising. Highly recommend - thanks Ivalo Safaris. Above and beyond.

Such a fun experience! Our guide, Miko, was amazing and so accommodating. It starts off by getting equipped with warm clothing and equipment, then getting driven to the lake which is like a 20 minute journey. Then you ride on the sleigh on the lake, such a cool yet cold experience (the wind) ! Then the fishing starts! He demonstrates how to make the hole and you take turns trying to make your fishing hole (he ends up making them when we’re all tired). Then he demonstrates how to fish and you spend 30 minutes trying to catch something - seems short but it’s a long time when it’s cold. Then you get transported back to an island where you get to be around a fire and get fed a 3 course meal which was delicious! And then you get to feed the reindeer and get sleighed back to the van and to get changed! Overall, worth the money and such a fun, unique experience! Just wear lots of layers.

Lauri was exceptional. A great experience from putting on our winter gear, sledding across the lake, drilling through the ice, and having a delicious warm meal in a teepee. Thank you for a memorable day!

We got to see the northern lights and wild reindeer!! Our tour guide was awesome! We also got to have snacks and hot chocolate by a fire. The snowmobiles were a lot of fun

Ivalo Safari picked us up at Kakslauttanen and we had a great trip to the lake where we caught a lot og fish and enjoyed a beautiful meal in the tippi with a Camp fire. The guide was great a we recommend everyone to go.

Activity itself was beyond amazing if you like experiencing driving yourself. It would have been nice to have made it more obvious, that we'll be traveling from kemi to Rovaniemi by car to and back, as we may have booked the same trip while staying in Rovaniemi a few days later.

We stayed in Lapland snowmobiling and overall it was a very nice experience. The scenery was impressive and the tour well organized.The group was relatively large with about 25–30 people and there were two guides, which was a bit much in some cases. In a conversation the guide also apologized for this and said himself that the group size was actually a little too big, we found that very honest and likeable.Particularly positive was how much attention was paid to our safety. In addition, photos of Jan were taken and there were drinks in between. The guides were very, very friendly, helpful and spoke good English.A real highlight was that we could even see Northern Lights. Overall a great tour with small reductions in group size, which we can still highly recommend.

Great organization! Our guide Nico was very kind, patient, attentive! Very nice discovery of fishing on Lake Inari Lunch prepared by Nico at the top in a tepee! He only missed the reindeer ... (but we were warned ) too bad! I strongly advise

Good night in all.. guide had very good knowledge of living the Finnish lifestyle. Camp was nice touch, as we cooked our own food. Conditions difficult but dealt with well. Thanks to both team members
