Absolutely fantastic day with Nikola. The tour hit the best spots and was both easy and very informative. The golf cart got us into all the right spots with ease and lunch was both authentic and great as well. If your looking at this tour, do not hesitate to book it.

A full day but every minute is well spent. Our tour guide Nicola was outstanding; tremendous knowledge of Rome’s history, culture and the stories behind the stories, with a great sense of humor that made the tour the perfect was to see as much of Rome as possible in one day. Could not recommend him more highly.

This was my first trip to Rome, and unlike other cities I’ve traveled to, I didn’t do much pre-planning or research. I was looking to book an all-day private tour to see as many sites as possible and I found Nicola’s tour company received very high reviews, as well as making all arrangements for purchasing tickets in advance, as well as including a private driver.Communication prior to the tour was extremely easy, and Nicola arrived ahead of time on the day of the tour. The driver- Andrea- was a perfect gentleman, opening and closing the van doors for me and escorting me out of the car, something rare these days. It also didn’t hurt that he was extremely handsome!Nicola took me to all the sites- the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums, and St. Peter’s Basilica. It was a packed day but I learned so much history- literally everywhere you turn there’s so much ancient history. Nicola was an amazing tour guide who I would instantly recommend to my friends and family.Rome was EXTREMELY HOT when I visited so having the air-conditioned van with a driver to negotiate the crazy traffic was a godsend!I felt extremely safe traveling as a single woman with Nicola and Andrea and would definitely request them for another tour the next time I come back to Rome!

Nikolai and Andreas arrived at our hotel early and on time to pick us up. We did not have to wonder where they were. Also, we were picked up in a Mercedes van that was very neat and clean. What a nice vehicle to be taken around Rome for our tour! We were taken to several tourist attractions in one day which we would never had been able to accomplish on our own without Nikolai and his ability to navigate these landmarks. We saw the best parts of these attractions because Nikolai knew how to swiftly get us to these places. He personalized our tour to our requests. For instance, we were dropped off at the Vatican at our designated ticket time. We walked a major portion of the Vatican grounds and had our car pick us up at the exit. Very convenient. We would never have seen all 7 sites of our tour had we not booked this private tour. It was well worth the cost based on the time we had in Rome. We had the next day to ourselves and Nikolai provided several suggestions on what we could to on our own for that 2nd day.

The tour is a must do, beyond our expectations!!!! Our drivers met us as we got off the boat. Our guides Patricia and Lorena spoke English clearly, they were incredibly knowledgeable and had us hanging on every detail.The rests for lunch and a snack were at the exact right times and we had enough time and Rome with the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, the Parthenon and all the history need to be experienced to be fully appreciated. One of the best tours I’ve been on. Well worth every penny. It was very hot in Rome when we visited and having a guide and a separate driver was invaluable. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating when we changed the original itinerary. He took us to a restaurant and helped us to order food off the menu so we would get the full experience. I highly recommend taking this tour so you can see the most amount of Rome that you can.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We had a very good experience with our Rome excursion during our cruise stop in Civitavecchia. The vehicle was clean, modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable for our family throughout the day. Our driver was professional, knowledgeable, and navigated the busy areas very well.Communication leading up to the excursion could have been a bit more proactive during the 24-hours before, as there were periods where updates felt quieter than we expected before such a major tour day. While everything ultimately came together smoothly, a little more communication beforehand would have helped us feel more prepared and reassured in advance of the excursion. During the day, the communication style was direct and fast-paced at times, which we understood is common in the industry given how many schedules and tourists guides manage each day.The day itself focused primarily on Rome’s architectural landmarks and historical sites, which was impressive and memorable. We were able to see many iconic locations and learn a lot about the city’s history and culture. While the experience followed a very structured itinerary, it was still a smooth and enjoyable way to experience Rome in one day from the cruise port.We were especially grateful for the luxury of having a private ride and front-of-the-line access at several locations. Being able to avoid long lines and much of the heat made the day far more comfortable and allowed us to maximize our time seeing the city instead of waiting in crowds.Lunch at Osteria dei Pontefici was also very enjoyable with good food, a nice atmosphere, and a relaxing break during a busy sightseeing day.
