Great fun and informative. Packed with a little bit of everything. You get taste alcohol, see how vanilla is made, hear about pearl creation and have a great lunch and time to relax on a private island, there were only 6 people on the tour so it was a personalized fun experience. Well worth it.

Travel through the heart of the island and into the middle of the caldera. Enjoy the verdand vistas. Visit a pearl farm and learn how these beautiful objects are created. Finally visit Gerrard's farm to taste his exquisite local honey infused with home grown vanilla.. The highlight for me was the visit to the ancient marae. Kia Kaha.

We did the tour with James's wife who shared great knowledge with us about the river and what it could provide to the Polynesians (food source, medicinal...) all along the way. We were also able to enjoy a very welcome fruit-based snack. James and his wife are very concerned about the well-being of their clients and their satisfaction. We had a very good time in their company and recommend them with our eyes closed! A big thank you to you!

We loved our private fishing tour with Kenzo! It was the first time for the children and Kenzo was so patient showing them how to do it! We caught a bonite! And a smaller fish which we released back in the lagoon! Thank you Kenzo for such a great tour!

Booking this jet ski excursion through Cool Destinations was hands-down one of the best decisions of our NCL cruise stop in Taha’a. From the moment we hit the water, the views were absolutely breathtaking — crystal-clear turquoise lagoons, vibrant coral reefs visible right beneath us, and Bora Bora’s iconic silhouette in the distance.Our guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, safety-conscious, and clearly passionate about sharing the beauty of the island. He went above and beyond, climbing up to grab us fresh coconuts that we got to eat right there on the water, and showing us how to feed the fish. The pace was perfect: fast and thrilling when we wanted adventure, and slow and scenic when we wanted to soak it all in.The absolute highlight was stopping at the Coral Garden — it was pure magic. Crystal-clear water, colorful fish swimming right up to us, and our guide made the whole experience unforgettable with his knowledge and genuine care for making sure we had the best time possible.Booking through Cool Destinations made the whole process seamless — easy coordination with our ship’s schedule and clear meeting instructions right at the port. If you’re cruising through Taha’a, this excursion is an absolute must-do. Worth every penny and one of the highlights of our entire South Pacific trip!

Best experience ever! We caught three fish and hooked a shark and a huge bonito. Kenzo is incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and made the whole experience truly unforgettable.

Great way to enjoy the sunset and learn about the island!
It was a nice ride around the bay including a little motu where you could take some stunning sunset pictures. Our guide was super friendly and told us all about the island, culture and history while answering all of our questions about what it was like to grow up and live on the island. They served some delicious fruit, cheese and salami etc type snacks. We didn't have the rum based drink but enjoyed the mixed fruit drink.

Something out of the ordinary. The host was a lovely gentleman who has constructed some optical illusions that are totally disorienting (in a fun way). I wish my grand children were with me - it would have been a science lesson for them as well.
