This was an amazing day! The guides make this experience truly a memorable one! Our guide Tarzan was great! The tour included a delicious lunch and beach time at the motu with an authentic Polynesian lunch experience and also a very funny show to follow by the guides. I would highly recommend this especially if you’re here on a stop with a cruise ship!

Great fun and informative. Packed with a little bit of everything. You get taste alcohol, see how vanilla is made, hear about pearl creation and have a great lunch and time to relax on a private island, there were only 6 people on the tour so it was a personalized fun experience. Well worth it.

Very beautiful excursion around Tahaa
Very interesting tour of the island of Tahaa led by a very friendly guide. After visiting a pearl farm, a vanilla producer, and a distillery, we made a guided snorkeling stop in a very beautiful coral garden as well as a stop to swim with blacktip reef sharks. The meal on the motu Tuahi was delicious, surrounded by a just splendid setting! An excursion that one can only recommend!

We did the tour with James's wife who shared great knowledge with us about the river and what it could provide to the Polynesians (food source, medicinal...) all along the way. We were also able to enjoy a very welcome fruit-based snack. James and his wife are very concerned about the well-being of their clients and their satisfaction. We had a very good time in their company and recommend them with our eyes closed! A big thank you to you!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Let's be honest… Google is a bit stingy with its stars. JB deserves at least 12. ⭐😂)We left as a family of 7, from 8 to 62 years old (yes, all generations were there!), and managing to get everyone to agree is already quite a feat. Well, JB did it… and with disconcerting ease!We thought we were booking a 3-day cruise… we experienced a break outside of time. The kind of stay that makes you look at your return ticket with a lot, a lot of disappointment. 😭😂JB doesn't just sail, he shares his Polynesia. He knows the lagoon like the back of his hand and made us discover places so incredible that we wondered several times if it wasn't a set created by AI. Unreal waters, breathtaking landscapes, preserved places… a true paradise.On board, everything is designed so that you feel at home… except that at home, you don't have a turquoise lagoon in front of the terrace! (Not yet 😎). The welcome is exceptional, the meals are simply delicious (goodbye to good resolutions 😅), and each day is a succession of magical moments.But what makes all the difference is JB. His kindness, his benevolence, his good humor, and his attention to everyone are incredible. He knew how to create a bond with each member of our family, from the youngest to the oldest, by adapting to everyone with rare simplicity and generosity. Result: we left with 7 people won over… and yet, getting everyone in a family to agree is often more complicated than crossing the Pacific! 😂Thank you JB for these three extraordinary days, for your good humor, and for these landscapes engraved forever in our memories and this incredible feeling of having experienced much more than a simple cruise.If you are looking for a boat trip… keep looking. If you are looking for an experience that will make you fall in love with Polynesia, that will leave you with stars in your eyes and memories for life… then go for it. You will board as travelers… and you will leave with a piece of Polynesia in your heart. ❤️🌴⛵

Booking this jet ski excursion through Cool Destinations was hands-down one of the best decisions of our NCL cruise stop in Taha’a. From the moment we hit the water, the views were absolutely breathtaking — crystal-clear turquoise lagoons, vibrant coral reefs visible right beneath us, and Bora Bora’s iconic silhouette in the distance.Our guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, safety-conscious, and clearly passionate about sharing the beauty of the island. He went above and beyond, climbing up to grab us fresh coconuts that we got to eat right there on the water, and showing us how to feed the fish. The pace was perfect: fast and thrilling when we wanted adventure, and slow and scenic when we wanted to soak it all in.The absolute highlight was stopping at the Coral Garden — it was pure magic. Crystal-clear water, colorful fish swimming right up to us, and our guide made the whole experience unforgettable with his knowledge and genuine care for making sure we had the best time possible.Booking through Cool Destinations made the whole process seamless — easy coordination with our ship’s schedule and clear meeting instructions right at the port.
