My 16 year old and 11 year old did a group lesson and my husband and I went along as spectators. There were four people in the water with my kids- 3 instructors and a photographer. They were incredibly patient, made sure the kids had fun and helped them catch lots of waves. The location is gorgeous! Our favorite beach of the trip. This is a great value and we brought home some fantastic memories.

Fun Day Surfing with Macao Surf Camp. Nice, new foam longboards, great spot for beginner/intermediate surfers with sandy bottom and consistent waves. Instructors were awesome. Photographer took some great shots and fair price on photo package.

Spent the morning with Macao surf camp today for a private surf lesson and I can highly recommend them! The vibes were chilled and everyone was super friendly. We had a session learning on the beach first which was great before one on one time with an instructor (Kendrick) in the ocean. Kendrick was fantastic! Really patient, calm, and encouraging. He told me where to put my feet and how to adjust my balance and I was surfing almost straight away! We had photos and a video taken as well and they even created an instagram reel for us. Amazing work from the team and Kendrick, definitely check them out!

This atv adventure was the best I have experience ever. Our excursion was scheduled for 2pm, Mike was there to us up at 1:45pm promptly. Not only was he the driver to the excursion, he was also our awesome guide. He made sure we was comfortable on the atv before heading out on the adventure. The scenery in which he took us riding was magnificent. The ride between the undeveloped beach front on one side and the beautiful undisturbed nature was indescribable. He also took some amazing pictures of us riding and walking along the beach which you can purchase separately. On the ride back we stop at a dominican restaurant and had the greatest empandas I have ever tasted (which was included in the price of the excursion)! On the way back to the resort, he took us to the gift shop to pick up some souvenirs. I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone looking for something to do in the DR!!

Great experience doing this excursion!! This was my first time riding ATV's and I was really nervous but it was a very easy and enjoyable ride! Guides were helpful as well. They provide transport to and from your hotel in the excursion, the ride is a bit long but its worth it! You get plenty of time on the ATV's as well. Overall really fun experience, don't expect a crazy/dirty ATV ride, its definitely more relaxed and laid back but enjoyable!

Recommended by our tour operator during the welcome meeting, we planned this outing for our small souvenir gifts. Appointment time was respected and the transportation was perfect. A small soothing haven in the shop with a relaxation area and bar. The attention and advice in French are worth noting. We pay in euros without any issues. We were delighted with this outing because the Riu hotel is isolated, and we would not have been able to plan this visit on our own.

What a beautiful little discovery 🥰 And what a welcome and organization, never seen before! After contacting the shop for information, I was offered a free pick up at the hotel and return as well. Arrived on site we were warmly welcomed and offered tastings. There is a large selection of products at more than reasonable prices, I paid less for magnets for example at the shop than at the seller at the market 😳 The shop is definitely worth a visit

Fabulous two hours learning to surf with expert instructors in a beautiful setting. We highly recommend!

We had a large group ages 18-60. All had a fantastic time. Each had a personal instructor who made sure they were successful. Driver arrived on time in a well air conditioned vehicle.

Great people and beautiful beach. Had private surf lessons with local crew. Everyone very welcoming in and out of water.

Macao Surf Camp was an amazing experience for my teen son! Sammy was his private instructor and had him up and surfing on his second try! This business was great to deal with and easily accommodated a last minute reservation change due to one of my sons being ill and allowed us to use it later in the week.I recommend the optional drone footage "add on" when you arrive as well!Overall great experience and great time! Definitely recommend!

I liked the activity of visiting the Cedro de Miches. the rice field, the beach with its coconut palms, 2 hours of pure adrenaline crossing the entire beach was fun. I would like to do it every weekend when I can.
