Very cool experience! My husband and I (and even our 4year old daughter who did a small side project) are super proud of our Lecce stone bowl creations. Carefully and patiently directed by our teaching master, we were shown how to use the tools, the steps to take from block to bowl, while being given loads of room for creative freedom. The setting was lovely, the pace relaxing, and the output something truly special. Thank you very much 😊

Book this class! You will not be disappointed. My sister and I attended this class and it was one of the best things we did in Lecce. Our class was at the Jewish Museum. We were the only two in the class. Our teacher was so WONDERFUL! She spoke very little English, but not a problem. We had a precious young interpreter. We laughed and had the best time throughout the class. We made a small paper mache bouquet, and several single stemmed flowers. We took them with us and let them air dry for at least two days before we packed them and headed to Rome. If you choose this class I would suggest attending soon after arriving in Lecce so your flowers have time to dry well before you have to pack them. They did not get damaged in our suitcases as they are somewhat pliable until they are painted and glossed.

The experience was amazing! First, we drank some coffee and Pino explained the itinerary. We went to his show room to look at this art and ultimately decide which pieces we would like to replicate (it's of course possible to implement your own ideas). The actual working was in his laboratory outside in a nice garden. Pino showed us how to work with the stone and the tools, leaving us to work while checking in every now and then. When we were finished we sat in the garden and were served some really nice rosé wine and some snacks. We had a wonderful time and would always recommend it to everyone who wants to have a once in a lifetime experience and take home some beautiful art.

We had a wonderful learning experience. The artist was knowledgeable and since she spoke Italian a translator was with us as requested, he too, was very good. It was a fun time, we got to work on a small project to take home. And it sparked some creative ideas to try at home.

An amazing experience learning about the local stone and selecting an item to carve and make. Pino was very friendly and helpful and showed us the ways to make three stone items. We also finished the experience with a glass of wine or juice, some olives and locally made snacks just before lunch in his garden. Overall a very worthwhile experience, we already want to book again.
