Top Providence Fun and Games

It was a great time and I would highly recommend

To start, I’ll admit that I’m terrible with escape rooms. I’ve one done one prior to this game, and failed miserably. We had a great time using this Escapely Providence game. I am local to the Northeast area, and had friends from the Midwest come out to visit. We purchased this as a way to get into the Providence area, enjoy the game, and see some new areas. This game was good for beginners like me and for those who have more experience. The game is created with layers/steps of hints,  so we could decide how much help we needed without jumping to the answer. With the help of those hints, we were able to complete the game and even solve some of the steps ourselves. Being terrible at escape rooms, I needed more help than most likely would. This is where the different types of hints come in handy.I also loved that this game helped us to find little hidden gems of the city that we wouldn’t have found without it. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience! Some of the clues were out of date as there was construction going on. But it did not ruin the experience and it was so fun.

Very exciting when we picked the right suspect as perpetrator. Graphics are good. Clues were well done.

As escape room enthusiasts, we’ve played a lot of puzzle games, and this was one of the best outdoor experiences we’ve done. It was a great way to explore the Riverwalk while having a mission to complete.The biggest thing we appreciated was that the puzzles actually made sense. Every clue led naturally to the next step, and we never found ourselves thinking, “How were we supposed to figure that out?” The game was challenging, fun, and well thought out from start to finish.We had a great time and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique way to spend a few hours on the Riverwalk.

Super fun and very creative, the walking distance is reasonable and it’s in a beautiful part of Providence

The Providence Murder Mystery Detective Experience was a fabulous day out, walking through downtown Providence, RI. The app was easy to use, the audio vignettes were fun and the mystery was actually challenging to solve, especially if you didn’t concentrate! While the experience could have made a bit more of the Providence location (eg., historical clues, architecture, etc.) it didn’t take away from the experience! Be sure your phone(s) are fully charged and wear comfortable shoes. It took my grown daughter and I about an hour longer than the estimated 2.5 hrs to complete! Strong recommend!

We enjoyed the parts of this self-guided tour that we could experience. It would be nice if public restrooms were possibly listed as we had to stop our tour to find one with young kids. We ended up backtracking about three times, which is more our fault than the tours! Although we got lost at the state capital building when we couldn’t find the long crosswalk. So that’s as far as we made it. Again, It was mostly our issues that caused us to stop (dying phone battery, kids needing the bathroom, etc). Be sure to have a charged phone or a portable charger if using your phone!! Overall, we enjoyed what parts we got to complete!

Great time. For the price can’t go wrong. Couple of the questions didn’t seem to line up. But getting them wrong doesn’t impact the experience at all. It’s more so just to be interactive while in those locations. Would recommend highly.

The experience was challenging and entertaining. It guided over a good part of downtown Providence. It was fun to follow. Some of the responses required were unclear as to what to look for. It was a fun experience.
