It felt like visiting a friend you haven’t seen in a long time. Jinni was warm and friendly. She talked about her childhood with her grandmother and how she learned to cook. She explained every step in clear steps, and then showed us what she meant. She explained why things are done in a certain way and the importance of that process. She answered all our questions. This class was well worth the cost and learning experience. The class was well planned and you don’t feel like you’re being rushed to finish. We walked away wondering why we haven’t been making dumplings all these years ourselves. Already recommending to other family and friends to take this class.

From the time we walked in the door, we were treated like family. The class was very fun, informative and the finished food was amazing. We are so happy that we did this class and would love to do another.

The moment you submit your date for the class, Jinni does an amazing job of communicating making sure the experience goes super smooth. Once there, Jinni is super welcoming! Immediately bringing the smiles and laughs. The class itself is super informative and anyone can do it. Even if you struggle at first, do not be afraid to ask for help. Overall, we had a great time. Definitely Recommend!

Jinni was a wonderful and accommodating host! There was 2 couples there, so definitely a small setting. You get to experience the hospitality part when you first get there as she makes you one of her favorite dishes and you chat with one another. Then, she starts the learning process and teaches you how to make the dumplings. Then, you get walked through the process of making them, and then the best part, you eat!! We also each got to take home a few leftovers that we didn't eat.

This experience was amazing and we had a blast cooking with Jinni. Her knowledge of history of Chinese dumplings made the experience that much better. They tasted so good and we can’t wait to do this again in the future. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone looking to try or learn something new. Thanks Jinni.

This was so fun Jinni was so warm and welcoming! I had fun learning the history of Chinese dumplings and felt very comfortable and at home in her kitchen. This was such a fun experience I love her and the dumplings turned out so yummy!

The host was well prepared and welcoming. An intimate experience. She learned to cook dumplings from her grandmother in China. And her process has respect for tradition.

You will greatly enjoy the experience while gaining lessons that will last a lifetime.

This is a fun and informative experience right in Pa. Jinni was welcoming, warm and engaging. She even made us appetizers which were very tasty. Her teaching style was encouraging and gave us confidence. We're very happy we took this class and look forward to making authentic dumplings at home for friends and family. We hope she provides more classes in the future with additional dishes from her culture so that we can come back and learn even more!

Jinni makes you feel like you are part of her family through her stories and sharing her love of all things food. She was so gracious and kind as she created such a memorable experience for our families. She had us laughing quite a bit and hugging each other at the end as we said goodbye. We highly recommend Jinni's cooking class!

We had such a good time learning how to make dumplings. The host, Jinni, is such a delight ... so kind, knowledgeable, and funny! The dumplings turned out delicious and we since made them at our house (and they turned out delicious)! I highly recommend this experience!

I took this class with my mom and we both went in feeling slightly nervous about our cooking skills. Those feelings immediately went away when we met Jinni, who is incredibly warm and welcoming. She patiently walked us through each step, giving us great tips and practical cooking advice, while sharing interesting stories. We were both so happy to learn how to make delicious dumplings from a pro. I highly recommend this experience, not only because you get to leave with the knowledge and confidence to make your own authentic Chinese dumplings, but also because Jinni is an amazing host who makes you feel like an old friend.

Jinni is warm and caring. Her beautiful home is inviting and we were put at ease immediately. Her personal stories and passion for cooking easily came through in her abilities and attention to details. She is knowledgeable about her craft and her love of teaching is easily noted. I would absolutely take another class with her. I now know how to properly make dumplings. No more frozen dumplings for me!

Jinni made our experience very enjoyable. Right from cutting vegetables, mixing in ‘Secret’ ingredients to sharing stories while the dumplings are pan fried, it was a unique and extremely satisfying experience. Jinni was generous enough to offer appetizers before we began our class. She also shared her amazing recipes with us via email. She’s very considerate and thoughtful. We had a great time. Two thumbs up!
