This tour to Rothenburg and Harburg Castle was worth the time and money. Rothenburg looks like it's out of a fairytale book. It is a good day trip. The only complaint that we would have is that we wish we could have had more time there. The tour gave us 3 hours to check out the town. We spent a little over an hour at the Harburg castle which was enough time. The drive from Munich is 3 hours each way. This tour is a full day. The tour guide Felicia was very informative and pleasant.

A fun experience but I would have been content to just spend the time in Rothenberg as opposed to going to both locations.When in Rothenberg, the guide offered to make a reservation at a restaurant for us. I accepted but, looking back, I would have rather just explored on my own rather than using our limited time on a sit-down lunch. The food, however, was very good.Our guide was great, gave great information, and was eager to answer all our questions. Overall, I would recommend the tour but advise to skip the sit down lunch if offered and explore Rothenberg more.
