This cooking class was one of the most special experiences of my entire trip. Cooking alongside Suzanne felt less like a class and more like being welcomed into a Montenegrin grandmother’s home — warm, personal, and full of genuine care.We made the traditional Set Menu 1: Parmigiana as an appetizer and Brodet, a classic Montenegrin fish stew, as the main course. Suzanne guided us through every step with patience and stories about the dish’s history, making the whole experience feel authentic rather than staged. The company was wonderful, the food was absolutely delicious, and I left with both a full stomach and the recipes to recreate it back home.If you want a genuine taste of Montenegrin culture and hospitality, not just a cooking demonstration, this is an absolute must while in Kotor. Suzanne made it unforgettable.

I cannot recommend this enough. Petar was the best guide and provided so many tips and really allowed us to see this beautiful country away from the tourist crowds. Fantastic hosts, fantastic food and fantastic views. Do this trip early in your holiday as Petar will help you plan the rest! He is so passionate about his home and so genuine and helpful. You will love it!

Philip was a great Kotor tour guide, kept it informative and concise. Cooking class was fantastic – hands on with lots of menu options, and quality local ingredients. Spent a couple of hours cooking and chatting. Interesting to hear about the history of the area and how it's changed. This was a private class for 2 people, would have been happy to be in a larger group for this.

What a wonderful evening exploring Montenegro’s culture and heritage! Our guide, Petar, was exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the country’s history. We loved learning about each monastery, hearing the stories behind them, and admiring their beautiful architecture and religious significance.To top off an already incredible evening, we enjoyed a fantastic homemade meal at a charming 200-year-old stone home nestled in the hills above Budva. Our host, Rajko, was just as warm and welcoming. He gave us a tour of his beautiful garden, shared his homemade wine, and treated us to breathtaking views that made the experience even more memorable.This tour was the perfect combination of history, culture, hospitality, authentic local cuisine, amazing wine and of course rakija !! We highly, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montenegro!

Another wonderful tour with " Kotor Private Tours " !
We have been to Kotor a number of times on a cruise and in November we booked once more another tour with "Kotor Private Tours " and had again a wonderful experience in this beautiful country . Our guide Brian was waiting for us in the port and we were on our way with the 6 of us way ahead of all the tour busses . Communication with this company has always been excellent . This time we went up into the mountains and after a number of stops had a wonderful lunch at a prociuto farm. Our guide was excellent had lots of information and stories to tell us about this nice country . We hope to be back soon again and hope to do another great tour with " Kotor Private Tours "

This was a fantastic tour. Liset was so knowledgeable about the city of Kotor. She really made the tour fun. And Daniel took us to the olive farm. Great experience! Very interesting learning about the old and unique way of making olive oil and enjoying a delicious light lunch They made the day so very special ! I would definitely recommend this tour! We all had a wonderful time.

Amazing! Daniel was so nice and provided us with so much insight into Kotor and its history. The quaint home he brought us to for olive oil was beautiful. The homeowner was so nice and the snack delicious. Homemade prosciutto, cheeses, olives, olive oil and wine. Delicious with a stunning view. Daniel then drive us a bit out of the way for a great view of the harbor. Highly recommend!!

A wonderful experience! The drive up & down the serpentine road was handled with expertise (glad we weren’t driving it!). Tour guide on the drive was very knowledgeable regarding history of Montenegro (and delivered with humor thrown in!). The farm to fork experience was absolutely delicious and very filling! The walking tour of Kotor was equally enjoyable as the guide was, again, very knowledgeable and had a delightful presence.

Wonderful experience with MIS
I cannot say enough positive remarks about my experience with MIS travel agency. We spent the day with our loveable driver Marko- who was very professional and knowledgable of his beautiful country and its history. We visited an ethno village for a delicious traditional breakfast and continued to our rafting destination. The rafting experience was remarkable and is a must when visiting Montenegro- the water is crystal clear and the surroundings are amazing. Over all this trip with MIS was unforgettable, and I would HIGHLY recommend any of their trips to visitors of Montenegro. Can't wait for next years experiences!
