Bay Life Getaways/Designated Driver TC is amazing. I have used them several times and they have always been excellent. Christi is our favorite driver!

This is a must Marshall was amazing & very knowledgeable we learned a lot about Detroits history all while touring the city

I cannot say enough about our experience! I surprised my friend with this tour, and we both LOVED it and had the very best time. Marshall, our guide, was so knowledgeable and fun! Shared so many things about Detroit that we would not have gotten on a canned tour. We changed our pickup location at the last minute, and he was so accommodating. He also gave us two restaurant recommendations that we went to that were INCREDIBLE!!! This tour is a must!

Steve is a great guide! Very knowledgeable and knows the history of Detroit. He took us to all the historical sights. He’s a good storyteller too! He’s very friendly and personable.

Steven is familiar with every single thing of this city, and he was not just a guide, he had lots of experience in different kind of areas and I could learn a lot from him, great people to spend a day with, had so much fun of hanging out with him!He is also super patient and helpful, very flexible on the schedule, I can not expect more from a tour like this, book it, you will enjoy as much as I do!

We had an enjoyable wine tour on Old Mission Peninsula with Michelle as our driver. She was flexible with scheduling and helped to make it a great day with our dog!

Our Weekend Private Detroit Luxury Cruise with Captain Blair and First Mate Allie was truly one of the highlights of our visit to Detroit. From the moment we stepped aboard, they made us feel welcome and relaxed. It was a magical experience and absolutely worth taking. Captain Blair and First Mate Allie are a phenomenal couple who clearly love what they do. More importantly, they truly enjoy sharing the beauty and history of the Detroit River with their guests.Their knowledge of Detroit, Belle Isle, Windsor, Canada, and the surrounding area was impressive. They shared fascinating stories and historical details throughout the cruise. They made the experience much more than simply a beautiful boat ride. Their warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality made it feel like we were spending the afternoon on the water with friends. They even provided cold beverages and snacks, which was a wonderful touch. The boat itself was another highlight. Their 100% electric boat is phenomenal. It is a quiet, smooth, and impressive technological marvel. Cruising along the Detroit River without the noise of a traditional engine made the scenery and conversation even more enjoyable. As someone who appreciates innovative technology, I was particularly impressed by how well the electric boat complemented the entire experience. If you are visiting Detroit or the surrounding area, make time for this cruise. Whether you are interested in history, beautiful waterfront views, or EV technology, you should consider taking the cruise. You should also consider taking the cruise if you simply want a relaxing and memorable experience on the Detroit River. You will not be disappointed. Captain Blair and First Mate Allie will help you make new memories while delivering something special and unforgettable. We would definitely take this cruise again without hesitation. Five stars all the way!Carpe Diem!

This boat experience was fantastic. Captain Blair and Ally made you feel very much at home. Not only was the Swedish electric boat very impressive but the stories they told us as a guide were very interesting. I can highly recommend this to every one. Thanks Jason from Belgium !

What an amazing evening on the water, we had 6 co-workers in town and thought we would do something different. We had a great time, the communication was excellent leading up to the event, they had drinks and snacks ready for us upon arrival and they were open to us bringing our own as well which was nice, they let us play our own music via Bluetooth speaker connection, relaxing and chill vibes, affordable, and very informative with the surrounding area during the boat ride. Highly recommend, way better than just going to dinner! Enjoyable evening with Captain Blair and First Mate Allie, appreciate you both!

My wife and I try and jet ski anywhere we are traveling. The experience to Power Island was great. There was plenty of time to go fast, goof around and also just chill and relax. There was also time to explore the island a little bit. Our guide Zealand was great as well! Good times!!!

Moses was a fantastic guide! Our family went on the tour and our 2 teenagers had the best time! Had lots of time to drive the jet skis as well as take a swimming break on the island. Would definitely recommend (especially if you have teenagers)!

I wanted to offer a different perspective than the sole review on this tour- especially if you like history. We recently took the audio tour of Detroit and found it very interesting. The narrator is a Detroit historian who has written books on the settling of Detroit and its' early and more recent growth. You learn a lot about the French and Catholic roots of the city. We plugged the downloaded audiotour into our car and had no trouble with the audio. The stops were interesting and the only one we were parking stressed was the Hart Plaza. But you can see the river from your car. You learn a lot about the founding families as well as the role of the water to the growth of the city. Interesting French and Indian War and Revolutionary War history. It ends with cultural settings- and we thought the Detroit History Museum was excellent. Parking downtown was not an issue. We paid $10 and had access to all the downtown venues. The audiotour fee was $20 - a deal for our carful of people. I would give it between 4-5 stars. The final stops are museums- so you can draw out the tour to last all day. Or you can compact it to 2-3 hours. A good foundation to the history of the city!

My sister and I spent a day in Detroit learning about the little known 200 years of Detroit as a French city. The influences of the French and various Native American tribes were a story unto themselves. Add the conflicts with the British and there is a riveting mosaic of history that we fully enjoyed learning about. The audio tour takes you across multiple parts of the city, with the river being a central feature. We loved Belle Isle and strolling around the Elmwood Cemetary. The guide challenged us to reimagine Detroit during the 1700-1800s when the grand marais was a swamp, when furs constituted a major US asset, and when the French, British and native Americans fought savagely for land and dominance. He was a wealth of information and communicated well. We hooked our phone up to the car audio system and had no trouble hearing.A delightful day in Detroit!

Great guide! Funny, knowledgeable and just fun to hang out with!!!!!!

Great way to learn about the neighborhood you’re visiting. Amazing driver and good if you’re short on time.

The best service. Worth every penny and it wasn’t even that much. 4 of us split it. I will definitely use this company again.
