Truffle hunting with Paulo and his lovely pups was one of the best experiences I had in Italy, and I've been to Italy many times. Paulo is a generous host. He spoiled us from beginning to end. It was great hunting truffles, great making fresh pasta with his lovely aunt, and it was delicious to eat it with as much truffles as we wished. Three wines, wonderful bruschettas, yummy eggplant side dish, a lovely home-made dessert, and then all the time in the world to digest it in Paulo's lovely farm house and pergula. We loved every minute of it, and highly recommend it!

We had a tasting for the open wineries event and I must say we were welcomed with utmost kindness. Very good products and more than reasonable prices. A special thanks to Mirko who gave us a tour of the magnificent winery.

My wife and I arrived without a reservation in the off season. Georgio came out and graciously welcomed us for a private tasting overlooking the beautiful countryside. His mother brought out bruschetta and olive oil for us to enjoy with the five wines we tasted. We spent 2 1/2 hours together learning the history of the region and his wines.He then took us for a tour of the winery and explained the wine making. And when it was time to leave he insisted on having an espresso before we drove the 35 minutes back to Ascoli Piceno. It was a truly fascinating and remarkable experience!

Fantastic place and tour, especially the guide Paolo, our group highly recommend Ramusé (www.ramuse.it) the lunch was magnificent.

Very nice to learn more about olive oil (the whole production process) and taste the differences. Then a joint lunch with of course the necessary olive oil from our own production and many local products. Very nice, tasty and almost full-day program. The daughter talks with a lot of passion about the family business and their “golden” product and the enthusiasm of the daughter and both her parents is extremely contagious; they are really proud of all the good that Italy has to offer and of their own products. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region!!

Fantastic place surrounded by nature and absolute tranquility, escape from the heat of the city, free camper stop with water and electricity 220v.Store of organic products of own production and extreme kindness and availability of the whole family and staff. Wooden tables available with the possibility of using the barbecue.

This was a wonderful experience, everyone was so friendly, it was fun and relaxed. We laughed a lot, learned about language, culture and of course, how to make the dishes we later ate! The whole experience was immersive and we felt like we were amongst friends. It was fantastic and I highly recommend it!

The hosts were wonderful, and the food marvelous. We were given an extremely warm welcome, and enjoyed the conversation throughout the four course meal.

Our trip to Abruzzo Italy was an ancestral visit to the towns and region where our ancestors lived. We wanted to experience firsthand the culture, geography, climate and history of the region and its surroundings. Our tour guide Marino Cardelli worked diligently to customize this experience to meet this goal. What we experience with Marino exceeded our hopes and dreams. Each day was filled with new adventure and learnings. In the towns we visited we met with local historians, dignitaries, his family and friends and experienced entry into places off the tourist trail. Without a doubt this was the most memorable trip of our lifetime. With Marino you truly experience La Bella Vita of Abruzzo and feel like part of his family. We can’t say enough about this wonderful person Marino Cardelli and highly recommend his services.

The couple that hosted us were awesome. She was a great cook and used only fresh natural ingredients from her garden, olive tree grove and the farmers market. Meal was amazing outdoors on the family's country house/olive tree grove.

Great experience truffle hunting with Marino and Jet (the dog that actually did the hunting). We learned a lot about truffles, and subsequently had a wonderful meal. The real highlight, however, was spending time with truly charming and welcoming people of Abruzzo.

I really enjoyed my time with my chef Giulia. I spent a wonderful 3 hours learning how to cook the three basic pastas. She was very generous with her time, fed me lots of extra goodies that she makes at home including her own limoncello (delicious!!!). Looking forward to going back with my family.

When we cruise, we love to get away from the crowds and try to experience the local culture as much as possible. One of our favorite ways to do this is to book food or drink tours so we were excited to find this opportunity to have a cooking demo in the home of a local family. The day before our tour, we were disappointed to learn our original host had to cancel due to illness, but excited to learn that Cool Destinations was able to arrange another experience at a different home. We were picked up right across from the port and had a lovely drive through the countryside. Our jaws dropped when we arrived at our destination. A beautiful Italian Villa awaited us and we were welcomed like lost long relatives with Prosecco and appetizers. Our hosts graciously allowed us to wander their property and home and answered all our questions. After a little relaxation, we were treated to a demonstration on how to make Tiramisu and pasta. While we were cooking, we had a lot of fun playing old 45 records on our host's antique juke box. Soon it was time to sit down for our amazing lunch. We were treated to a five-course meal which we will never forget. Each course was paired with local wine. Even better than the food was the amazing connection we felt with our hosts as they shared stories of their family and lives. Of all the amazing tours we have booked this has to be my all-time favorite. I am so grateful for Cool Destinations for going the extra mile to find a substitute experience for us and to Daniele Pallotto and family for welcoming us into their hearts and home.

I made a gift tasting and a visit to the winery to my father and father-in-law, they had a great time I can beautiful amazing wines, everything run by family, in simplicity and with passion. Thanks for everything.
