Go out of your way to visit Paulo! His deep love and connection to his land and its history are evident in every part of the experience.We wandered the property and learned about his adorable Lagotto Romagnolo dog, who expertly indicated truffles hidden in the dirt. We collected truffles in a basket, gathered fresh eggs from the chickens, and then headed back for a fantastic meal.Naturally, we began with appetizers, followed by one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten! The homemade pasta alone will make returning to the States tough.Paulo provides many of the ingredients from his own land (figs, eggs, wine and olive oil are a few), while others come from nearby local sources. Being big fans of truffles, and the documentary 'the Truffle Hunters', my wife and I couldn’t wait to try this experience. We were not disappointed in fact, it exceeded expectations.Everything about the experience was fantastic. Paolo and his wife were very welcoming from the start and the setting on the agriturismo is beautiful. The hunt itself was exciting and interesting, the dogs - Elektra, Ghianda and Briggola - are talented (and hilarious!), the food served made all from local ingredients was absolutely delicious, as was the birra and vino they also make themselves.Overall, a magical experience. Do not hesitate, just book it!!

Don’t go to the Vatican without having a guide. Ours offered so much depth that we never could’ve figured out ourselves. We had gone to St. Peter’s Basilica on Sunday and we’re so glad we did the two things on two separate days. After walking all through the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel, we were happy we could head out and not wait in another huge security line. On Sunday, we walked right in, went to mass, saw the art and then saw the Pope. Perfecto.

The beginning sorting is a huge mess and chaotic but it resulted in a fantastic tour guide with Krista. She was lovely and patient and unflappable.

Wonderful experience & ability to see behind the scenes of the Vatican & San Pietro for a family of 4 including twin 16 year olds. Would recommend to anyone. Bonus points, tag on a Dome climb once you’ve strolled through the Basilica for breath taking views of the city 🇮🇹❤️🇮🇹

We had a tasting for the open wineries event and I must say we were welcomed with utmost kindness. Very good products and more than reasonable prices. A special thanks to Mirko who gave us a tour of the magnificent winery.

My wife and I arrived without a reservation in the off season. Georgio came out and graciously welcomed us for a private tasting overlooking the beautiful countryside. His mother brought out bruschetta and olive oil for us to enjoy with the five wines we tasted. We spent 2 1/2 hours together learning the history of the region and his wines.He then took us for a tour of the winery and explained the wine making. And when it was time to leave he insisted on having an espresso before we drove the 35 minutes back to Ascoli Piceno. It was a truly fascinating and remarkable experience!

This tour was exactly what I needed to relax and enjoy some solid wine. The guide shared some cool stories and we got to try enough samples to feel like we had a mini party. The hills added a nice peaceful backdrop. Good spot to kick back and forget time.

Giuseppina has been able to convey to us in an exemplary way her love for the City of Ascoli that in the past I had only seen briefly .. but with her as a Judas it has become an incredible city! Highly recommended!!

Dress comfortably for some walking and climbing stairs (mild/moderate exertion). Our guide Pierre (also goes by Luigi) was personable, knowledgeable with many great stories about Frederico da Montefeltro and wives, family and retinue. He also related fascinating anecdotes from the history of the Palace and museum. We were surprised by how much there was to see - many beautiful paintings, wooden art works, ceramics and all manner of artifacts from the 500+ year history. I’ve always wanted to visit Urbino and my wife and I had a lovely time during our 3 hour or so visit.

Beautiful, it is a must visit. No regrets about the St. Peter's Basilica option, it is impressive.

First time on a wine tasting tour of wine produced underground in the cave. It is a different experience from the normal wine tasting. Food was exceptional and our guide was pleasant and friendly.
