Top Lucerne Attraction Tickets

We took the train and bus to Vitznau, the cogwheel train to the top of Rigi Kulm then hiked down to Rigi First, walked the Unterstetten Felsenweg (the most amazing views), walked to Rigi Kaltbad, then took a cable car down to Wegis and a boat back to Luzern. The whole trip was amazing with beautiful mountain views. It was a clear day and we could see everything from the top of Rigi Kulm.

It is a good idea to plan in settting aside at least five to six hours for a visit if you purchase the Day Pass. Come early, once they open the doors as there's plenty to see and do here. We did not purchase our tickets in advance but the line to purchase was really not that long. We were able to apply our complimentary Lucerne Visitor Pass for a 10% discount to our Day Pass.You can choose the time when you would like to watch the Planetarium show and 3D show as well as the Chocolate Adventure Ride. It is a good idea to take the Chocolate Adventure ride before or after the 3D show as they are located close to each other.There are tons of exhibits here at the Transportation Museum broken down with plenty of props and exhibits that are detailed with many hands on experience. Most of the exhibits are translated in English. You can easily spend an hour or two alone in the Aviation and Space Travel Hall.Be sure to stop by the LIndt Chocolate Shop and the wonderful gift shops as there are many unique items of interest. Well worth to purchase a Day Pass for sure. Also, it is very convenient to take public transportation here from Lucerne train station -- Bus #24 stops directly in front of the Transportation Museum- only about a 10 minute bus ride at the maximum.

Absolutely not to be missed. Unfortunately, being in a hurry, I bought the entrance to the SPA/THERMAL BATHS separately, but it is better to get a single ticket. I went up on the first mountain railway in Europe, the Goldau - Rigi Kulm cogwheel railway. The cogwheel train takes you directly from Arth-Goldau to Rigi Kulm in just under an hour. From there I went down using the other line that passes by the thermal baths/spa, a 2-hour stop not to be missed for lovers of this kind of thing. And then down to the valley using the "breathtaking" cable car, because of how steep it is, which leads directly to Weggis on the lake. From there you can use buses/trains to reach any location. Wonderful experience!

It was Amazing and unforgettable experience. Snow capped mountains, cable car and a view of falls an natural lakes, mind blowing.

Very interactive museum, it has so much things to see and learn! Planes. Boats, cars. Very adapted for children to has there were many having fun. A lot of activities. Totally worth it’s value. ( it’s definitely not ur usual museum) We took 3hours, but you could spend easily more time.

Amazing out of this world and to sit at the restaurant at the top for lunch just blew my mind. Well worth the trip. Gettin to ride on top of the cabriolet was awesome, even with my fear of heights

Fun little car takes you through the creation of Swiss Chocolate. Lots of free chocolate gifts! There is a lot of other things to do at the Museum. A 3D theater, planetarium and more. If I had known I would have bought an all inclusive ticket.

It has replicas and originals of air, land and sea transport, with some nice simulators. Guaranteed fun for any age. We stayed for 3 hours but I wanted to stay longer. In the end, we did the Lindt Chocolate Experience which was good but I only indicate if you do not visit the nearby Zurich factory which is much better!

To be honest - you can easy do Mt. Titlis from Luzern at your own. For us it was just important to have everything organized before the tour - and that worked really well. We got the tickets for train and cable car ahead of time. We got a nice travel information that we could just follow it during the day. It made it a lot easier to enjoy all the views and to make a stop at Engelberg too.

Easier to follow the instructions given by email and tickets. Not that difficult to go mt Titlis. Just go self guided. It’s worth it and it is very beautiful in mt Titlis.

Very exciting! I recommend a tour of the submarine and flying with a parachute using VR glasses.

We just came for the museum rather than the add on attractions. We arrived at 0945 and stayed till 1800 and didn't see everything. We could do with another day! The layout is basically energy production, trains, cars, aircraft and boats plus an art exhibition that we saw last year but didn't get to today. The exhibits are very well described and almost all have an English translation. The stand out exhibits for us were the giant model railway, going into the aircraft, the vertical car garage with robot transporter and the automaton on the top floor of the boat display. There are some excellent and informative interactive displays. We ate in the cafe and restaurant and found the food, cake and drinks to be very good. This really is an outstanding museum. Consider an annual ticket if you live in Lucerne or come regularly.
