What an amazing experience! You don’t have to be a war buff to enjoy this tour. Levi, our tour guide, was very informative and accommodating. If you have seen the Band of Brothers, Levi will point out specific sites that you might be interested in.

Levy did a great job getting us to and from Bastogne with some stops along the way to help set the tone and provide some context. The museum was interesting as was the war rooms, but the highlight of the day was the tour of the perimeter positions at Foy. Walking in the woods and seeing the Easy company foxholes was a moving experience.

Self-guided city tour with puzzles and tasks in Liège to 10 important sights. It was entertaining, educational, and fun, but you should be quite good on your feet, as the locations are sometimes up to a 15-minute walk apart.

I booked this trip mainly for my husband, who is a huge WW2 history buff, however, there were so many interesting things to see and facts to learn, that its a trip that appealed to everyone in the group. To stand in the forest of Bois Jaques in Foy was such a moving experience...god bless our troops!

Liège has been a fascinating city for us for years. Contrasts enough. Beautiful and ugly at the same time, history and modern times united. A magnificent tram runs 12 km along the Meuse and through the city centre, city with many old churches and the imposing palace of the Prince-Bishops. We were already for the umpteenth time with our old camper on a square in the center, Outremeuse; never encountered any trouble. Recently read the book "Liège, a declaration of love" by Bart Jungmann, indispensable for us to discover the unknown. Liège has atmosphere, is secretive and always draws you back to that city with that unmistakable French slant. And good weather helps, of course, if you can plan it that way!

We enjoyed doing this scavenger hunt. The assignment is worthy of 'who is the mole?' Cozy to do together. Glad you can choose to continue at another time. The first day we had done the assignment until 8 and the next day no. 9 and 10.

I had done one of these in Ypres so was really excited to try it again in Namur. We had a very nice walk thru the city where we got to see some very nice spots. Two locations weren't accessible due to construction, like one of the churches and the mayor garden. Other than that, it was really fun.

We took a walk through Namur, a nice city. Everything was fairly close together, ending at the citadel. Some questions/answers were impossible or very difficult to find. But it's fun to do, you see a city in a different way and visit places you wouldn't otherwise go. So nice😃😃

If you have any interest in World War II history, the Battle of the Bulge, or simply want an exceptional historical experience, we cannot recommend this tour—and Levi—highly enough.

I am validating what many of the other reviews state-if you're looking for an excellent tour while in Belgium and want a top notch guide, Levi and this tour will meet all expectations! We had a family holiday and booked Levi to guide us from Brussels to Bastogne and multiple sites along the way and we all were left impressed. All of us know the history pretty well but yet learned much more. We like many, had family members as part of the WW2 campaigns, so seeing first hand what they saw and experienced is always moving.
