An absolute highlight of our vacation! The cooking class with the Greek moms was not only incredibly delicious, but also a wonderful experience full of warmth, laughter, and genuine Greek hospitality.A huge thank you goes to Kiki, she is by far the best tour guide we have ever met! With her warm manner, her perfect English, and of course Greek, she manages to bring everyone along and make every tour something special. You notice immediately how much she loves her (adopted) home and passes this feeling on to her guests. . The Greek moms showed us with a lot of patience and love how traditional dishes are prepared. It felt like visiting a Greek family—authentic, warm, and unforgettable.We have known Kiki for two years now and look forward to seeing her again every time. She is not only a fantastic tour guide, but simply a wonderful person.Anyone who is on Kos should definitely not miss this cooking class, a clear recommendation from the heart! ❤️🇬🇷 .

We had a wonderful day with friendly people. Kiki, our tour guide, made it very easy for us to engage in conversation. Quaint atmosphere and warm Greek ladies. Chopping and preparing the dishes was enjoyable. Time flew by. The men in the group were also busy at it.

Before sunset we usually dock in a small port where you can try the local cuisine!We have been sailing in the Mediterranean for several years, we love the bays with very few boats, the long swims exploring the seabed, the sweet afternoon navigation, the aperitifs at sunset and the warm welcome of the Greeks! Our weeks on a sailing boat have very relaxing rhythms with 2/3 hours of navigation per day: in the morning Luciana prepares a rich breakfast and after coffee we set off to drop anchor in a splendid bay where we can swim, snorkel or lie in the sun on the comfortable cushions at the bow reading a book or simply enjoying the wonderful view. For lunch we usually choose a different bay, a dive and we will be ready to enjoy a light and tasty meal in the cockpit perhaps accompanied by a good fresh wine! In the afternoon, wind permitting, we set sail and everyone takes part in the maneuvers. It is a fantastic way to do a bit of sport and learn to sail, Renato will be happy to leave you the helm and teach you the perfect adjustment of the jib and mainsail! Before sunset we usually dock in a small port on one of the islands on our itinerary. The villages of the Greek islands are always great to visit and the Greek taverns serve delicious and cheap food. With the right conditions we will also sleep in a quiet and sheltered bay... aperitif at sunset and dinner under the stars!✨ The days are never the same during a sailing holiday, there is always something interesting to visit: a temple, an ancient settlement, sometimes a scenic walk, a monastery with a spectacular view, a particularly renowned tavern or the fascinating old towns (chora), mazes of alleys and blindingly white houses! It is difficult to get bored but everyone can choose their own pace and maybe enjoy total laziness!

We arrived at Taverna Perasma, and were greeted with a cup of coffee. As we started late due to the other people arriving late we went straight to the Kitchen so the food had time to cook. We all stood round the table and under the instruction of Stelios and his mother, we each prepared a Greek salad. We then helped in the preparation of Tzatziki, Aubergine dip, Spanakopita (spinach pie), dolmades and stuffed Zucchini and watched Mama prepare a chicken, potato and lemon dish. And of course, helped prepare a Moussaka We then went for a tour around Stelios’s farm where he grows all the ingredients he needs, anything he does not grow on the farm, they purchase locally. He explained about the sustainability of water usage, employment, effect of tourism and what items are sourced locally and what items were imported from further afield. Quite an eye opener. We then went to see the olive groves, where again Stelios explained the different stages of the olive and when they are harvested. Following that we went to see the olive oil production area, explaining the natural methods they use. From there we went back to the restaurant and tasted some olive oils and received more information on the different types of olive oil and myths associated with oils. You are also able to purchase some of the oils they produce. Then to top the day off we all sat down to a meal of all the food that we made or prepared, which was all very tasty. It was an extremely full, informative and enjoyable day and well worth the money, and gave you a great insight into Kos itself. The whole day lasted about 5 ½ hours. The only thing to take into consideration is how you get to the restaurant which is situated on the main road between the airport and Kos Town. We actually hired a car (35 euro’s a day) which we thought was easier then trying to get a bus, taxi or transfer.

When we arrived we were given coffee and after the Greek coffee given aprons and told we were starting a cooking clas We made a 8 dishes with the host and his mother. We had a very interesting tour of the third generation olive farm and its operations. We saw the oil production center and NOW back to the taverna to taste the oil! We graded 5 oils and it was clear we didn’t know much about good olive oils. After this, we sat down to a 5 course meal that we had prepared earlier and a glass of wine. We bought some of the organic oil made there and then rushed back to the port. One thing I would recommend—- make at least four hours to do this tour and make the pick up arrangements through the tour because it was difficult to find/get a taxi and that ended up costing more than the pick up price.

Lovely wee half day trip, very interesting and guide was excellent, would recommend. Not a lot of walking so good for people with mobility issues.

It was just Great! Absolutely recommendable! the Skipper and the Crew were extremely nice and friendly, the Greek lunch was awesome and the Spots we went to, were very very nice! It was a Highlight at the end Of our vacation in Kos!

A wonderful day, so relaxing. Hosts were so friendly. Food was delicious. Lovemy swim stops. Well worth the money.

A wonderfully relaxing cooking class with two Greek housewives and Kiki as the good soul of the whole experience (contact person, interpreter, and organizer). All ingredients were fresh and, as far as possible, even from our own cultivation. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and very kind people. Many heartfelt thanks for these wonderful hours 😀

Tzatziki & Co. – Greek cooking class with Kiki.It was a very nice day, great atmosphere in the mill, friendly Greek hosts, and excellent food and wine. The preparation of the dishes was very well organized, explained wonderfully, and filled with a lot of fun. This event is highly recommended.

The staff were amazing, the boat was gorgeous and the food was delicious. Perfect day with the right amount of people so it didn’t feel too crowded. The crew provided anything we needed including beer and wine. They even gave us snorkels and flippers to see the fish when we stopped for a swim. Lovely views and the water when you stop to swim is so blue and clear. 10/10 recommend!

We have had an absolutely amazing sailing experience with Sail Kos! In the morning we could sail completely without the motor, which we really enjoyed. The first swimming stop was beautiful. There were only 2 other small boats, which made it nice and peaceful. I managed to see a turtle. And when getting on the boat again, I enjoyed the great service of the crew. The drinks and snacks are brought to you while you stay on your favorite spot on the boat. The second swimming stop was even more beautiful. This was also our lunch stop, and wow, it was like we were in a Greek restaurant. The dishes are traditional Greek and absolutely delicious. The crew frequently asked if the food was okay and if we wanted something else to drink. Besides the great service, the crew was always happy to have a good conversation with you. This sailing trip was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Really lovely, super chilled day. Perfect mix of sailing, stops/swims, lunch and refreshments. Crew great and appreciated they avoided the busier stops (where all the pirate ships/tours stop).
