He made George’s stag do an unforgettable experience with a thrilling day of ghyll scrambling—jumping, sliding and scrambling down waterfalls. Great fun for everyone, from our mid-20s to a 73-year-old. Highly recommended!

Excellent family experience. Two adults (one who hates water sports) and 10 year old son - good fun with perfect mix of feels exciting without any uncomfortable risk taking. Our guide Andy was great - kept the group entertained. He was both organised and in control. Wet suits were clean and in good condition. Everything went smoothly and the interactions with mobile adventure were all very helpful, polite and added to the enjoyment of the experience. This rated as one of the best days of the holiday for all of us.

Brilliant and unique experience, my son had been before, but said it was 100% more fun with Mobile Adventures… highly recommend. Woody our guide, is easy to like, has such an energy about him, you feel safe, but he also pushes you to try new things, so you get the most out of the experience. Highly recommended

As my son said ‘you do the via ferrata for adrenaline and the caves for fascination!’ Woody, our instructor was awesome, encouraging, chilled, insightful, friendly and knowledgeable. Totally would recommend!

Quality experience in a truly unique setting. We spent several hours climbing inside the slate mine and even got a taste of several other routes due to making good time. The routes were a good mix of challenging fun. Our instructor Woody was very personable, engaging throughout and even gave us some history lessons as we went. Would absolutely go again and would recommend anyone else who wants a one of a kind thrill to do the same.

We loved this activity - perfect for a rainy day in the Lakes. It is basically indoor Via Ferrata - the course was a great mix of challenge & excitement all in the unique surroundings of a Slate Mine. The whole family (2 adults & kids aged 14 and 11) had fun. Special mention to guide Matt, who was superb.

We had a great morning climbing in Borrowdale with Andy. My wife was a little bit anxious as she hadn't climbed before and is a little scared of heights. Andy was very reassuring and managed to get her on the wall!! Andy was good fun and great with the kids. It was a really enjoyable family experience.

We booked (very!) last minute and couldn’t have picked better. Woody was great craic, took loads of photos and made sure that all seven of our group got something out of the session, though I’d probably recommend groups of 4-6 to make sure you get plenty of time climbing.We could have easily enjoyed a full day here and think we would all happily come back and have another go.
