Our tour guide, Takeshi, is very friendly and knowledgeable. He is very passionate about showing Hiroshima to visitors. Our train was delayed for 30 minutes due to bad weather. He stayed with us and made sure we got on the train safely. We really appreciated his kindness.

That was a really well done tour. We had a great guide with Kiyoshi. He guides us through not only the monuments and sites, but shared personal connection stories as well.The island had quite a few dear so felt a bit like we were in Nara! An unexpected surprise.The tour will was organized from the meeting spot in Osaka, to the bullet train to Hiroshima and back. We were always take care of, even with free water to start our journey as it was extremely hot.The first half of our tour was the Miyajima island and floating torii, followed by lunch. Lunch was on our own and you need to move quickly to get a decent spot for lunch but there are many good options.The second half was related to Hiroshima and the atomic bomb. Warning: the museum could be too much for children. Lots of graphic photos and text.We returned to Hiroshima station with sufficient time for shopping (huge mall and POKÉMON!!).

Mayu was an incredible guide. She explained everything so well and made the experience meaningful and memorable. We enjoyed having someone help us navigate the trains and it was so smooth. We loved everything we saw and experienced. This was our favorite day of our trip and Hiroshima has a special place in our hearts after our guided visit.

A powerful and moving experience at Hiroshima

Jun was an amazing tour guide. She made an all day tour relaxing, engaging and memorable. Her in-depth knowledge was matched by her sense of humour. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fully organised, stress free orientation of Hiroshima.

Great experience just got unlucky with the weather, the island is very fun. I especially loved the deer. The trip was from 8 am to 6 pm so about 10 hours in total. The staff were kind especially the guide who spoke English well as a Japanese woman. Best for people who want to enrich their knowledge of culture in Hiroshima and just general knowledge of history. The crowd was slightly large which was fine as main parts of the experience you are allowed to seperate with your friends or family. Overall it’s a fun experience that is interesting and well planned.

The lady’s who helped and guided us were absolutely amazing and helpful allowing us to ask any questions and explaining the plans of the day fully and in detail.

Excellent! The guide, bus operator and customer service and logistics were perfect. The guide, Hikari was a native of Hiroshima. Her knowledge, insight, warmth, and genuineness made the day unforgettable.

Well organized. Excellent English speaking guide who gave us great information on all the sights we visited. Kyoshi our guide even sang for us at the end of the trip which made it fun. The memorial museum was a sad and solemn part of the tour. All the entrance tickets I.e the subway ride, Bullet train ferry, museum etc were all included in this package. I would highly recommend it if you're willing to spend the extra..

There was much more walking than I expected Fortunately I am able to walk longer distances but some guests may struggle, particularly if it is hot Funding the Kyoto meeting point was a nightmare. GPS kept sending me in the wrong direction. But I had decided to try out finding it the day before so the 40 minutes I spent once I hit yo the Kyoto station, while frustrating, was worth it. The other couple I met starting in Kyoto had the same trouble . I think you should say that the starting point is I. The basement of the Avanti building across the street from the Kyoto station. Go down the steps and it is on the corner before the entrance to the Avanti mall. )or something like that) The train ride worked well but I think you should explain that if you start the tour in Kyoto, the guide takes you to your train and you travel to Hiroshima without a guide and meet the guide there. It went smoothly but not everyone is comfortable with traveling alone But in the end the Mahayana Shrine was impressive and I enjoyed the commercial area and picking out lunch. And our guide had prepared some information on the Hiroshima bombing and shared it with us before we walked around and went into the museum which mad it much more meaningful. A very sad demonstration of man’s inhumanity to man offered in an impartial and honest way. And the museum does such a good job in presenting what happened on the morning of August 6, 1945. I had seen the actual Enola Gay( the bomber used in the attack) at the Air and Space Museum in Washington DC so this closed a circle do to speak Visiting the museum has many similarities to touring the US Holocaust Museum in Washington in regard pictures and stories of victims and devastation of neighborhoods. Visiting Hiroshima is a very sobering experience but I am very glad I did it.

This was an amazing day trip from Osaka! Well worth the time and the effort - it is a MUST to visit Hiroshima, especially the museum, which is incredibly powerful, and the experience will be with us for some time.

It was a very good tour and well executed.

Our guide was wonderful. Showed us the train system - didn’t work as we still got lost but not her fault. Visited the shrines on our list and she was so informative and interestingly. It was a long tiring day but worth it and she stopped regularly for drinks and lunch. Particularly loved the wee cafe she stopped at in the afternoon for tea and cake. All costs included which was a surprise.
