I found white hawk transfers and tours on Cool Destinations and got in touch with them as we were going to Kefalonia on holiday and wanted to do a trip with them. They responded and we arranged things through WhatsApp which was easy and straightforward. Paid a deposit which again was easy as they sent me a payment link and they kept in touch in the run up to our holiday. Our driver on the day was Maria who was excellent,very patient and her English was much better than our Greek!! We had a great day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company and Maria in particular.

Absolutely stunning views of the Cretan coastline, and the waters were warm and fun. Irini was so knowledgeable with interesting facts, stories and accommodations.

Nadia was terrific! Energetic, bright, irreverent, fun — played delightfully to the three generations represented in our party of seven, especially the five females. A strong person with definitive views on Greek culture and clear goals for a modern young woman navigating it. She brought us to beautiful vistas, gorgeous beaches, and luscious countryside feasts. She showed us historic monasteries but told us about the negative impacts of religion in Greece as well. She acknowledged that the monasteries’ gardens were magnificent but noted that all that gardening was the work of nuns! From Nadia, we got the whole, complex story in one memorable day.

Nadya the tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable and friendly and totally looked after me and my husband on our private tour.

A fantastic day spent with Dimitri. He was knowledgeable, polite and great to be with. The tour took in all of the sights we wanted to see plus some more, but being accompanied by Dimitri added a special touch. The views around the island are stunning; it’s not just about the destination

A dull day was brightened by a great trip out for the day. Nadia took us to a monastery, home village, wine tasting and an an amazing lunch, topped with some amazing stops to enjoys the fabulous island views... all places we would have gone without her. She is great company, energetic, full of knowledge and facts and Id recommend this or any other trip with her. Thanks Nadia a highlight of my holiday.

If you’ve never been to Kefalonia or only have a limited time to be there- Mario is the guy to use! We felt that he gave us the entire Kefalonia experience in a laid back and fun way! Highly recommended

What an amazing day from start to finish. Our driver was outstanding and was friendly and informative. We visited the cave at Melissani which was stunning and then stopped at Myrtos beach for some breathtaking scenary. We visited Assos and Fiscardo which were beautiful villages, full of charm and beautiful views. It was very relaxing having lunch by the sea. Later in the afternoon we stopped at Antimsamos beach for a swim in the chrystal clear water. We finished our day sampling local products at Rabola winery. It was a Wow day and we would definately recommend.

Nasos was an excellent local guide. He is a local with extensive knowledge of the area. Nasos was on time and thoroughly polite. He was enthusiastic about his island. Nasos’ car was quite new and he was a safe driver. Highly recommended

Spending the day with Nadya as our guide was the highlight of our holiday, I can’t recommend this enough. Picked up at the door of our hotel, Nadya was entertaining and full of local knowledge, from history to local customs, we enjoyed her company as much as the tour itself. The itinerary means you get to see so much of the island, the wine tasting was fabulous and lunch at a real taverna that you’d never find on your own was a pleasure. If you want to see and experience Lefkada, this is the tour to do. Thanks Nadiya for a fabulous day!

We had a great time during this trip. Nandia is a very good guide, great driving skill and new a lot about the monasteries in Meteora . Overall we had a great experience! Also, she made sure everyone stayed hydrated :p

Fiskardo is a beautiful bay. You can stroll down to the bay where you will find a great selection of restaurants serving delicious Greek food, needless to say there is also a wide variety to sea food. There are no fast food chains, This is not the place to go of you want to club and rave. There are no clubs. The vibe is peaceful and chilled , sitting out eating and watching the world go by, great for families and to chill, relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. You and also sit and admire the beautiful yachts that pass by, you can also hire small boats and cruise along the stunning coast line or go on organised boat tours to some or the other islands such as Ithica. Fiskardo is the only part of the island that was not destroyed by the earthquake in 1953 and many of the beautiful old venetian buildings are still standing. There many cats , that do not belong to anyone which the locals feed and there are volunteers that try and get the cats neutered to control the population. There are 2 supermarkets, chemist , bakery, hairdressers, ice cream parlour, a couple of bars and a variety of independent boutique shops selling clothes and souvenirs, the locals are very friendly and most speak English. Fiskardo is very seasonal , we arrived on 14 October all the restaurants were open because the weather was still warm 25/ 26 degrees but the locals told us they would have closed down sooner for the season if the weather was not good. We were there for a week and 3 days later , some of the restaurants started to close down for the season. By the end of the week only 3 restaurants and couple of coffee shops were open. There are two routes to Fiskardo , one driving through the mountains or going along the coast road , the road is cut along the side of the mountain and you look down and see the coast, driving in the day is fine but at night there are no road lights so if are of nervous disposition , driving in the dark not recommended. You also need to keep an eye out for the mountain goats which like to sit and sun bathe in the middle of the road. Public transport is virtually non existent, there are many taxis, it is 1 hours and 15 minute drive from the airport which cost €100 , if you go to the the capital it takes an hour and cost €80. Kefalonia is a beautiful island with many beaches and coves and I would highly recommend if you want a very peaceful, relaxing break. Fiskardo is beautiful, if you are doing a whistle stop tour and also seeing other parts of the island, 2 days max is all you would need.

Great experience! The driver was excellent, very kind and knowledgeable. The tour lasted 7 hours. We visited the highlights of the island and the driver described everything with great details. This tour was the highlight of our holidays! You must book it!!!
