It was a very informative tour, but the city itself is definitely worth visiting, the city that historically located on the territory of Moldova and is now the third largest in Romania. Especially outstanding is historical Palace of Cultures with its architecture, also St. Paraschiva Metropolitan Cathedral and many more buildings. City itself is clean, decorated with lots of flowers.

I came away from this excursion with a great appreciation of the history and culture of Iaşi and the region. Leo was delightful to visit with and had an immense depth of knowledge.

My wife and I enjoyed our tour of Iasi, Bucovina, and the Painted Churches, and our private 2 day tour of Moldova this past September. Our Rolandia contact Adelina was very responsive and helpful in setting up our itinerary based on what we wished to do. Leo was our excellent driver guide who was fun, energetic, and knowledgeable. He was also very flexible and willing to add or subtract from our itinerary based on our wishes. The company helped set up a transfer for us, and when the transfer was unexpectedly no longer needed, they refunded the transfer. Rolandia provided us with a top notch experience at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Rolandia for private travelers wishing to visit Romania and Moldova.

We had a wonderful time on the trip to the Neamt fortress and the surrounding area. Leonard was very helpful and knowledgeable, telling us both the historical facts, local legends and new developments in the area. He was very friendly, drove very nicely and was very attentive to our interests. We fully recommend this trip!

Full day private tour with an english speaking Guide. We visited all the best and interesting tourist sites in Iasi. Our guide was charming friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The itinerary was flexible to suit our preferences. If you’re looking to learn more about history culture geography of the local area this tour is well recommended.

Best decision ever to do our 3 day Roots trip to Iasi, Botosani, Dorohoi and Piatria Neamts. Great vehicle and driver, and and an absolutely amazing tour guide that looked after us as if we were her very own family. Would whole heartedly 100% recommend !

This rural experience was a very enjoyable day. I have been to Romania four times now and with each visit I get to see and experience so much more of this beautiful country. The landscape, citadel, monastery, and Nicolae Popa museum was a great insight into the rich history and culture within Romania. My guide Lucian was fantastic even organising an impromptu visit to a family which was the highlight of the day. They welcomed you traditionally, quenched your thirst and appetite with home made food and beverages and then put me to work husking some corn. Absolutely an awesome experience that will stay with me forever.

Excellent guide who knows lasi like the back of his hand. Mihai, was superb. Very strong English and even some Russian language skills too. He was able to identify historical lasi locations within minutes and locate excellent restaurants on the fly. Really enjoyed the tour by foot and car. lasi is an underrated city. Mihai is the guide to use.

Iulian was a wonderful tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and brought with him historical photos to supplement the tour. He was super friendly and talkative and gave the tour in easily digestible pieces. I highly recommend this tour!

We got picked up at the train station. We learned a lot about the interesting history of Iași and Moldova. We got to visit quite a few of the oldest buildings in the city. Our guide Iulian was full of knowledge, and very informative.

Julian's was well prepared with his knowledge of history and the geography of the region. He used various maps and photos of the city to assist a traveler in understanding the region.

My guide Iulian was resourceful and knowledgeable, so I felt like I had come away from the city tour with a good idea of the history of its major landmarks and the city. I think I might have gotten lucky, but I was able to take a peak into the Iasi National Theatre, which was quite beautiful. I only wish I had more time to visit the museums in the Palace of Culture, but I was fortunate to be in the city while they had live opera in front of the Palace of Culture and various food stalls behind it for a festive evening. My guide also treated me to a pastry from a nearby patisserie, and it was quite frankly the best dessert I had while in Romania.

In spite of extremely hot day Iulian made his best to make us love Iasi.Excelent english,flexible, knowledgable,made this tour real value for money
