My gf signed me up and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but let me tell you my experience with JoJo was magical and transformative. I arrived full of anxiety, anger, and sadness and left with a healing heart, ready to take on the world. If you’re looking for a sign on whether to take the plunge: this is it. Do the retreat. A few notes on the particulars. The food is absolutely incredible and I say that as someone from Chicago who works in hospitality and is very much not a vegan. Every meal was filling, flavorful, and left my body feeling genuinely great. Thank you, amazing Goddess Paige and David, for the gift of those meals. The bedrooms are comfortable and come with a private bathroom, so yes, you’re in the middle of nowhere, but you are far from camping. The land and hot springs is breathtaking.JoJo will have a full day planned for you, but makes it clear from the start that this is your experience. Move in whatever way honors your body and its needs.I’m also deeply grateful for the other women on the retreat. Being held in community with women from different cultures and backgrounds made the experience something truly special. You leave feeling bonded, supported, and less alone than when you arrived.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I booked this retreat with little expectation and was blown away by my experience. Jojo is amazing and the personal aguahara session was incredible. Our group was small (and so special!), and our days had the perfect balance of structure and flexibility. The food was simple, delicious and nourishing. The property was magical! I could go on and on but do yourself a favor—just book it. I'm so glad I did.

I've had the best first retreat experience ever !!!! It has been amazing from A to Z and can't recommend it enough. Jojo creates the best activity plan for the entire stay, that will make you release a lot of energy, connect with others and yourself and heal you profoundly. The location of this retreat is also absolutely fantastic, a beautiful oasis in the Oaxaquena mountains where we were swimming like mermaids every single day and doing yoga/meditation/therapy sessions with the view of the river and trees. The chef also made us some of the best food I've ever had, every single meal. The combination of everything ; swimming in termal pools, aguahara therapy sessions, women circles, connections exercices, yummy healthy meals, sleeping early and with the sound of insects/birds, no-contact with the external world or my phone, and feeling so safe and supported for an entire 5 days is just unmatchable. I can say that it has deeply changed my life and helped me release old emotions that were stuck for almost 20 years. I now get a clearer vision of what I need to focus on for my future and have better tools within myself. I can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge with me Jojo, thank you for everything.

The views were amazing, the house is beautiful and has everything and very clean I loved it this place….I can’t wait to come back soon… I highly recommend Jojo is amazing person inside and outside…. The retreat with her was the best experience in my life..Page cooked delicious food with love and pasión!!!!! 💕💕

If you are looking to truly do the work to (re) connect with yourself - Jojo will be your guide. This retreat was a safe and loving environment, and I left with amazing new friends and I am still filled with gratitude. As far as the area - the beauty of the beaches and welcoming vibes make me want to go back!

Magical is definitely the word. The hot springs and river are so healing in and of themselves, the land is breathtaking… add to that being in an incredibly nurturing and safe space to be yourself, to connect to your essence, and to share with other women, and all the practices Jojo shared and you have a beautiful cauldron for transformation.I came to the retreat in the midst of a lot of anxiety and deep emotion, looking for some settling and I found it. There was permission to be with my emotions and to move through what was coming up for me. And to be witnessed in such presence by others was healing.If you feel the call - do it. If you feel it and are nervous about something - do it anyway! Many of us were nervous about different aspects - for me it was being in a group while feeling I needed alone time and also being really emotional. In the end it was perfect. The small group size and safe space Jojo held for us to share - words, tears, rage, whatever, was exactly what was needed. And if I needed time by myself I took it. Every morning I bathed in the river alone at sunrise and watched the birds coming to drink. It was the perfect medicine to be in nature and somewhere so incredibly peaceful.

What an incredible trip this was, unexpected to say the least, I have gone on many yoga retreats, and this was not what I thought it was going to be in the best possible way! if you are wanting yoga every day, this is not the trip, this is an all-immersive experience into your deep-rooted traumas, misconceptions, ideas of who you are. It will challenge you in ways you have not been challenged. You will laugh, you will cry, you will be frustrated with no WIFI or any connection to the outside world. You will swim, you will eat, you will share your deepest thoughts, you will experience workshops that will take you deep into your own soul and you will leave with answers and questions. Invest into you!! Take this trip!! Enjoy it and appreciate the extreme beauty and goddess that you know you are!!
