We were thrilled with the tour.our guides were so knowledgeable and passionate at each stage of the adventure. Mexico's diverse terrain from sea level up and up and up across the Sierra Madres. We felt safe, were encouraged to fully experience diverse geography, communities, cities large and small, and taste various cuisines. The climb by car, horses, and our own feet, higher than Machu Pichu, will remembered forever, along with wondrous views of the glorious Monarchs. We may well book again next year! This was an amazing visit to the butterfly sanctuary! I'll never forget being surrounded my thousands of monarch butterflies and holding some of them in my hand. Elvis was my trusty helper to get me to the top via horseback and hiking. We also visited Patzcuaro, Copper City, and Morelia while on tour, and Ulisses was a great tour guide, showing us these beautiful parts of Mexico, bringing us to excellent places to dine, and being a safe driver all the way. Highly recommend this tour!

This was such a wonderful experience. Ulises and Elvis took great care of us ensuring comfort and safety while showing great cultural stops along the way to the butterfly sanctuary. We not only saw millions of monarchs but experienced Patzcauro culture, Copper town artisans, Old Town in Morelia and great food along the way.

This tour is Magical from the start to the end. Yes, the Monarch Butterflies are the main reason to take this journey but there is Magic everywhere in Mexico. My wife and I chose this tour because it offered more than just visiting the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. The Pueblos Magicos cities we visited have so much to experience. They are filled with History, Culture, Architecture and people. Jenifer and Ran enriched our journey sharing their love of the places we visited. Our group was great. The Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van was comfortable. The hotel in Morelia was located in the Historical Center. It is clean and in a safe area. The days are long. The drives are long. The horseback ride was more uncomfortable for me than I had expected. The hike at 10,000 feet was strenuous for me. Ran and Jenifer were watching over me. Ran found a walking stick which helped a lot. I road the horse back rather than hike down. It was far easier than the ride up. All in all, my wife and I had a magical experience.

Jennifer does an excellent job of providing a multi fauceted, hands on experience, rich in culture, local arts, and regional culinary specialties. Captain Ran is a delight and made our city walking tours so much more interesting with his obvious knowledge and love of the culture and rich history of Michoacan and Mexico. Our visit to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary was wonderous as the weather cooperated and the butterflies were active. Both Jennifer and Ran were very accommodating to everyone's physical abilities and so knowlegable about the region. We were fortunate to have a great group of people on the tour with us as well. This was an unforgetable experience for me. The tour does include a lot of walking at high altitude and many areas have traditional cobblestone surfaces. Wear good walking shoes and dress in layers with comfortable clothes!

This was a great trip! Ulises gave a 5 star tour of the colonial towns of Michoacán. Accommodations in Morelia were very comfortable and we always felt safe and well cared for. The butterfly experience is not to be missed and we enjoyed the restaurants Ulises suggested. I would highly recommend this tour.

Ulises and Elvis gave us an excellent experience. The Butterfly Sanctuary was amazing! We saw millions of monarch butterflies! The hotel in Morelia was nice. All the restaurants we went to were very good. Walking tours of Morelia and Patzcuero and Copper Town were interesting. The van was pretty comfortable for all the hours of riding, and Ulises was an excellent driver.

We had best experience at Secrets Vallarta Bay for the 8day stay there. Fernando the paddle boarding instructor gave good instruction, was very encouraging and made us feel safe with him. From Jack and Ellen

Rudy and Santiago are great your guides and go into depth about each part of the city. The snorkeling and Paddle boarding was an amazing experience especially when we were able to eat live sea urchin and also see some turtles about 25 feet down. Definitely recommend this tour!

This tour was much more than the monarchs! We saw and experienced so much more. Cap’n Ran is a history guy so history, culture, food. An all inclusive three days to not worry about a thing! Jennifer made sure of that.
