This was a fabulous tour way beyond our expectations!! We were a party of 7 adults and everyone loved it. Some who had done sea turtle releases other places said this was better. Our guide, Pablo, was super informed and answered all our questions. Mr. Felix, his son-in-law, Omar, & wife and daughter are doing such great work. As of Sept 23, 2026, they had rescued 1,408 turtle nests this year. Nests can average 70+ turtles each. That is a lot of saved turtles. The baby sea turtles are SO cute. That day we released 151 turtles after digging them out of their nests. I would highly recommend this tour!!

We absolutely loved this turtle release tour. Luis taught us about the different kinds of turtles, then we each took five babies from the nest and got to interact with them until they were alert enough to be released into the ocean. One of my highlights from the week!

To celebrate our 25th anniversary, my wife and I decided to book a day trip with Ketavi Tours, and we had an absolutely wonderful day. Our guides—Ulysses, Benjamin, and Orion—were phenomenal. They brought the region to life with their local stories and incredible knowledge, welcoming us with a warmth that instantly made us feel like family.The day was a seamless blend of culture and nature. We loved the traditional lunch served at a private residence high in the mountains, where my wife got a hands-on lesson in making authentic tortillas. The food was spectacular! From there, we explored the Sierra de Guerrero, trekking through beautiful pine and oak forests to reach the spectacular Mesas de Bravo Waterfalls.As if that wasn't enough, we stopped at a roadside bakery on the way back. Seeing fresh empanadas and breads pulled straight from a large clay oven was unforgettable—we bought one of everything and enjoyed a delicious feast on the ride home. Perfect birding tour for those approaching their 30's! And all ages :) The tour picks you up at your accommodations before the day gets too hot. They provide binoculars, snacks, and water. Alejandro was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who took photos on his fancy camera of all the birds we spotted and sent them to us later. He knew and could whistle the calls of the birds, could distinguish the appearance of males/females/juveniles, listed off the common English and Spanish names and the Latin names, and topped it off with knowledge about local plants and insects as well. As beginner birders, my husband and I were so impressed and were particularly awed by the cluster of nesting storks and spoonbills that capped off the tour. It's the end of May, so make sure you book your tour around this time if you want to see the baby birds. Such a unique and fun experience for your vacation!! Thanks Alejandro!!

Elvis and Benjamin were wonderful! They were fun to talk to and kept us entertained on the drive to the waterfalls. The waterfalls were beautiful! Elvis jumped off of one waterfall and my husband slid down a “waterfall slide”. It was a wonderful day. Stopping in for an authentic home cooked meal at the host’s house was also amazing.

We had a wonderful English-speaking guide, who was very informative, friendly, professional and helpful. Seeing the baby turtles running to the ocean, cruising around the lagoon and eating the delicious lunch is so worthwhile. Don't miss this tour!!

Rudy and "Pato" are AMAZING, down to earth, FRIENDLY tour guides! We did the turtle release along with the tour of Acapulco with several stops for sight seeing. Not only did they take pictures for us, but also made a short cut video which allowed us to relax and enjoy the tour. I definitely recommend them for anyone looking to have a good time and learn about the cool spots in Acapulco. #SAVETHETURTLES

My husband and I and our 3 kids (13,11,8) did the sea turtle experience with Luis. He is so kind, knowledgeable, and fun! We all learned a lot, and getting to be hands-on with the baby turtles was really incredible. It was so great that we booked the snorkel tour with him for a few days later which was ALSO amazing! He drove us to the water taxi and we went across to Isla Ixtapa which was gorgeous, did some snorkeling and he showed us all kinds of beautiful fish, then we spent the day eating, drinking, and playing on the beach. Finally, he is giving us the best price for a van to the airport. We cannot recommend Luis enough!!

Our guide was phenomenal! Incredibly knowledgeable! Was fluent in English! Funny! Everything in a personality needed to have a good time! There was even surprise adventure. The men of the baby turtle sanctuary were so sweet and caring. And the absolute best were the baby sea turtles and the experience of getting to watch them start their sea lives! 10/10 recommend for those looking for ADVENTURE!

Easy easy! No need to think just enjoy. Lovely drive along mountain road to cooler temperatures in pine forest. Great views of valleys and hillsides. Very warm welcome at traditional Mexican farmhouse where we had a meal of Mexican homemade food with tortillas being made on traditional oven as we ate. We learned about local flora like the cinnamon tree and coca tree. The farmer treated us to a perfectly ripe papaya which we ate then and there. As an elderly group we appreciated being able to walk along country lane about 10 minutes to river and waterfalls. Some swam in pools while others watched. Refreshing! Although lots of pools to explore and enjoy we chose to view only three waterfalls which ranged from small to large. Our guides were v helpful and informative and spoke English well. Beverages were available. And the butterflies were amazing!

Ulises provided a first class experience in all respects from timely pick up at our hotel in a very clean newer vehicle, safely driven, to a terrific meal with a local welcoming family. The traditional farm was nearby the waterfall site which provided a beautiful swimming experience. What a superb way to spend a day!!

We have used Rudy before and he never disappoints. The tour was great – we loved the jungle lagoon and the opportunity to have wonderful fish lunch with a secret sauce.

Very informative. They take pride in helping the turtles. Being able to release the turtles was amazing. I would suggest July through August as it is in the middle to the end of hatching season.

Luis was great. Very knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time and are booking another tour with him later this week
