A not to miss experience!
Definitely make the time. The workshop was intimate with only three of us. Our Poetry Master Kerim was very patient and attentive. We each made two items which we were given the option to take with us. The lovely Nika was extremely sweet and explained the pottery process as well as gave us the interesting history on poetry in the region. Could not recommend this workshop more.

My wife and 10 year old daughter had the best time making pottery. Such a great experience and the master was funny and super helpful. Would recommend anyone visiting cappadocia to do this.

We love it! We were kindly welcomed by a mentor, with a Turkish tea and endless conversation, while the teacher prepared our olaria session. While we were doing our plays, the instructor explained the origin of the activity, historical facts and history behind the family that welcomed us at the session. Subsequently, we visited the atelier of the family, noticing the different forms, materials and techniques used over time. We love the experience!

Magnificent! I highly recommend taking this pottery class. It exceeded my expectations. The family has been doing pottery for three generations and they are very knowledgeable about the history. This is a wonderful activity to do with family and you get to bring your artwork back with you!

Very nice experience. The guys there were all friendly. You'll do the ceramic pottery with the guy there explaining to you how to do it and helping you out. After making your own ceramic pottery that you can bring home, they guide you to the shop where they have plenty of beautiful ceramic pottery.

This activity was surprisingly positive. I found time to try making your own little piece, could explore more. Plus, I thought we could take our play home and that wasn't what happened. I really liked the service done internally, but the prices are very high for the ready parts. Highlighting as highlight of the visit our Guide: Backir. He is a person of high energy, shared about the history of Avanos with us and some Turkish traditions. Certainly he made us feel very comfortable and we definitely indicate this tour made by him.

The experience was absolutely wonderful. The pottery lesson was Informative and immersive. The driver Bekir Kaynak was absolutely wonderful and caring in accommodating the needs of me and my wife. As tourists he made us feel welcome and at home.. he took care of us and even let us stop to try a yummy doner kabob.. May Allah bless the team of emoji tourism
