Alastar guided us expertly the way resident locals travel across Glasgow, near Clyde and Kelvin rivers, iconic locations, Glasgow atmospheric University, sharing history and popular stories while pointing out unique places to revisit for fun. This was easy riding electric bicycles on mostly paved trails with only a few street crossings where he ensured we were safe. He allowed stops when needed. This would be a great bicycle tour in rain or shine.

It was excellent! Johnny was enthusiastic, personable, and interesting. He made a point of connecting with each of us in our group of 12. He was very alive and in the moment and the 3 hours flew by. He made a point of making details relevant to fascinating cultural and historical points about the city. He sent us via email a nice list of restaurants, activities and such. He was very hands on - We ducked into the oldest pub, he bought us a bottle of Scotlands favorite soft beverage so that we could all have a taste, and brought us into a church to end the tour. Great job, Johnny! (Sorry about the Celtics)

Best thing to do in Glasgow! 🚲🚲
This is the second- bike tour we have done with Gallus Pedals. We had enjoyed the city tour on the refurbished post office bikes we decided to go back for more! We had a fantastic time on the e-bike and distillery tour. The e-bikes made it super easy and enjoyable to cover different parts of Glasgow we hadn't seen before, and it was a great way to see more of the city than we would have on foot. Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and full of great local stories, bringing Glasgow’s history and character to life along the way. The route felt relaxed and well-paced, with a good mix of sightseeing, hidden gems and time to enjoy the ride. Finishing at the distillery was a real highlight. It added something special to the experience and made the tour feel very Glasgow: friendly, interesting, fun and full of character. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Glasgow, especially if you want something more memorable than a standard city tour.

We had a great day with Chris! He took us to see highland cows, the Stirling castle, a 16th century village (the highlight!!), a distillery and my special request to see sheep! He was also very knowledgeable about Scottish history and a wealth of information. This trip was a highlight and I highly recommend booking Chris!!!
