She was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and engaging, and she shared the history and craftsmanship behind champagne in a way that was both fascinating and easy to understand. Her passion for the region and for champagne truly elevated the entire experience—she made the tour feel personal, relaxed, and special.The cellar visit and the tastings were excellent and thoughtfully presented. Ghislain was the most amazing tour guide I’ve ever had. He had local insight everywhere that we went, pointing out important landmarks and features and made extra stops along the way for view points and to learn about champagne production and history. He was very knowledgeable about everything champagne and wine related, helping us select drinks based on our tastes. His outgoing personality made the tour fun and comfortable, and he left us alone enough times to enjoy some private experiences. Everything that we ate and drank was fantastic. A unique experience with Angelique. This was a fun, thoroughly informative day out. The champagne tastings were delicious and our lunch at Chez Max was excellent. If you only pick one tour, this is the one to go for.

Great fun traveling along Avenue de Champagne in an open-air double decker bus, followed by a visit to see the vineyards of Hautvillers. Hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had a great time and sampled some delicious champagne.

My husband and I were traveling to Paris with our (well-behaved and well-traveled) 2 year old son over the summer and really wanted to explore the Champagne region but worried about how our jet-lagged 2 year old would be at the Champagne Houses so when we found this open-air bus we knew this would be perfect and enjoyable for all of us! Marie Antoinette and her husband were so lovely, friendly, accommodating from the booking the months prior to our travel to when we got off the bus. They were honestly just a joy! The tour was in French and only my husband speaks some French so we set those expectations ahead of time and knew that we would understand a little, but we'd get the tour of the sites, the sabering of the Champagne bottle, a joyful ride in a bus where you could drink champagne and our 2-year old would have a wonderful time looking around at all the sites. Marie Antoinette sent me the tour ahead of time in English so that I could read up on everything and know what it all was ahead of time, I thought that was wonderful. They also gave my son a cup to drink out of and provided some snacks/pairings with the champagne. To our luck one of the other guests spoke English so he did translate some to us which was nice. All-in-all I think it was exactly what we were looking for in our unique situation! We stayed the night at Hotel Villa Eugene which was just an easy lovely walk back to our hotel following the tour. I think there is an opportunity in the future if interest is there to offer tours in English too and you'd have great successful with non-fluent French speaking people. Happy to help provide ideas/suggestions for that if you ever do so in the future! I will be talking about this experience probably for the rest of my life and hope we find ourselves back in Epernay sometime in the future, we will surely be back and tell all of our friends about L'Imperiale de Marie Antoinette! Fantastic champagne event. Angelica was a fabulous guide, very organized, well connected with the champagne halls and Resturants, and knowledgeable of the region. Great food at the restaurant and experiences at the halls. Angelica was engaged and kept the conversation going. She gave great Resturant and wine recommendations.

We just spent the most phenomenal day with Ghislane. We would highly recommend booking a tour with him. He was attentive, knowledgeable, passionate about champagne and the region, and a pleasure to spend time with. He took us to many interesting sites, and we ended the day in a private champagne house. The experience far exceeded our expectations. We would definitely book with him again and would recommend to any of our friends.

What a wo derful day, Angelique made the day for us. We have been to Epernay many times, but this was first time we had a guided tour. It was just myself and my wife in the bus, and I would thoroughly recommend using Abgelique.

Bachelorette party activities! We have a superb time in the vineyards of Epernay. A memory that will remain engraved and a moment of madness thanks to the good humor of our hosts of the day.

Note: THIS TOUR IS NOT IN ENGLISH! With that being said, I still had a great time! The couple who led the tour were amazing and sweet, views were great, and champagne flowing. Would definitely recommend to French speakers!

‘Fabulous time even in a storm!! An experience is what you make it and we had fun even though the weather was against us! Bring your own music, friendship, laughter and the champagne tour on top can only result in one thing, a fun time! We had a problem with our booking but Robert and Marie Antoinette were very accommodating and did what they could to make the tour happen, Merci!
