Booking this experience at Argilos pottery with Ria was the best decision. We got a tour of her beautiful studio, which is nestled in her flower filled garden. The pieces were very unique and beautifully made! We got a cup we fell in love with, which was very reasonably priced! We got an insight into creating with clay and also got to play around with the wheel, which was so much fun! Mio, Ria’s cat kept us company the whole time, as we were creating and enjoying some fresh beverages in the beautiful garden. We got to make beautiful pieces, which we cannot to get our hands on once they are done! I recommend Argilos pottery workshop wholeheartedly. We learnt so much about creating with clay, got some insight into glazing and had an amazing time and so much fun with Ria ! Definitely coming back on our next visit ☀️

This experience was incredibly special. Sotiria was genuine, warm and engaging. Her instructions were patient kind and helpful. We created our own hand made cup and learned how to use the potting wheel all in the beauty of her own outdoor covered patio and back yard studio. She also provided the most delicious local tomatoes, feta, and olive oil. Sotiria created an unforgettable experience for everyone. I highly recommend this class if you are visiting Paros.

What a day!! This was by far the best tour I have ever booked! Unforgettable experience. We were picked up from our hotel and drove to the winery and then the pottery workshop. We explored Santorini’s culture and wine and we got to meet beautiful people on the way. Authentic experience to say the least. Highly recommended.

One of the most memorable and inspiring experiences for anyone interested in learning the basics of pottery wheel throwing in a truly authentic studio. Andreas and Kristi were incredibly talented and welcoming, creating an authentic and relaxing environment to learn the basics of the pottery wheel. Their passion for ceramics, patience, and attention to detail made the entire experience enjoyable and relaxing, even for complete beginners. A special thank you to Emmy, whose kindness, energy, and perfect communication made the whole experience even more enjoyable. She explained everything so clearly and made everyone feel comfortable and included throughout the class. This was much more than just a pottery class. It was a creative and meaningful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting. I’m already looking forward to coming back again!❤️

Ria is a fantastic host and welcomes you into her home with coffee and biscuits. A tour of workshop before diving into some pottery building up techniques with expert guidance. She absolutely loves what she does and it comes across completely in the 3 hours. Couldn’t believe it when she said the 3 hours were over and she kindly continued on past the time on her own suggestion. Would recommend to anyone.

We booked this last minute in place of a tour and we are so glad we did. What a truly amazing way to spend the day! Maria was our tour guide. She picked us up at a convenient spot near our hotel and showed us around a bit on our way to the studio. The studio is incredible. Andreas creates much of the dinner ware for the hotels and works with many students as well. Coincidentally, the hotel we are staying in has many of his sculptures and other pieces on display throughout the property. He is so incredibly talented and he and his wife Cristi are so fun and interesting as they teach you about the art of pottery over wine and snacks. He then helps you to create a unique piece on the wheel and helps guide you as you go. You can choose a color for the piece and they will ship it to you for only the additional cost of mailing it. It was so much fun and they are so lovely to spend time with. A truly authentic and unique experience in Santorini. Maria then took us to an adorable traditional cave style vineyard/art space to view some art and taste some wine. Paula was our guide at the vineyard. She is so much fun to tour with and the wine is delicious. Maria has curated the perfect way to spend an afternoon. We absolutely loved every part of it!

This was an amazing experience while on vacation. I would highly recomend this to anyone at any age. Ria, the owner is very nice and laid back. But, if you don't know it alredy you need to know that if you want your pottery with you home Ria needs to ship it to you and that's an extra cost. It's well worth it if you like what you have made.

One of the most amazing experiences if you want to learn some basics about the art of using the pottery wheel in an authentic studio with a phenomenal teacher. Andreas, his wife Cristi and Emmy (who translated fabulously) provided a wonderful experience which I would recommend to anyone. I can’t wait to come back!!!! A truly unique experience with a master of the craft Rei was patience with your 4 year old and the whole family. The setting is private and perfect for a small group. The pottery experience was hands on , and impossible to make a mistake. We ended up going over 4 hours with snacks and drinks provided. Truly a wonderful experience!

It was the best workshop that I did during my holiday, Ria is amazing and she knows very much her profession , before I knew the workshop was finished, sadly but I will return for taking back the workshop because I love working with clay it give me so much joy , and talking to Ria was nice I consider her as my friend .😘😘😘

We had a lovely experience with Ria. It was so peaceful and relaxing to learn some pottery basics on her terrace. We created a little cup and in the end learned the basics of the pottery wheel. Ria was an amazing host and it was very interesting to learn from her, not only with regards to pottery but also a lot of interesting things about the beautiful island of Paros! Highly recommended!
