Excellent hike with jorge. 6km of undulating paths which were a bit slippy. Big stick definitely helped me. Amazing waterfalls, scenery and birdlife. Lunch was lovely. One of the best short hikes I’ve done

Jorge was a fabulous guide for this hike. It's not too difficult but is undulating, so if you're a regular hiker you'll be fine.Booking this tour takes the hassle out of transportation and gives you an opportunity learn more about Colombia from a local.

The tour was great! The nature there is beautiful, the hike is difficult because of the altitude, but it's worth it! Our guide was Katy, she was super attentive and communicative!

I had a great time on my tour with my guide, Jorge. It took around 1.5hrs hiking to reach the top where you can see the lagoons. With the high altitude the hike is a little draining but the scenery is worth it and is beautiful.

What an amazing tour! Let’s start by talking about the beautiful drive up the mountainside of Bogotá, simply amazing! The authentic breakfast snack (arepa) and drink we had before the hike, were really tasty. The hike exposes you to timeless and breathtaking moments and views. Further, the hike requires a certain level of fitness, so please be aware when booking. There is a physically demanding aspect to this tour. However, it is worth the trek! Most importantly, our tour guide, Gigio, was the best!! Gigio was very knowledgeable and provided valuable information about the region, the country, and its history. Also, Gigio did a great job of making sure we took breaks and pointing out picturesque moments, and he provided recommendations to delicious restaurants and must-see attractions around the city. In all, if you are a nature loving, thrill seeker, this is a must do tour in Bogotá!

We recently went on Impulse Travel's hike to La Chorrera waterfall, and it was an incredible experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, and the views were breathtaking. The waterfall itself was a majestic sight, surrounded by lush greenery that added to the overall beauty of the surroundings. I highly recommend this excursion for nature enthusiasts and anyone seeking a memorable adventure.

I had an absolutely amazing experience on my La Chorrera tour! From start to finish, everything was wonderful.I was picked up directly from my hotel, which made the experience so convenient, and I had a private tour with Myra as my guide. Myra was absolutely phenomenal! She was incredibly knowledgeable about Colombia and shared so much interesting information throughout the day. She was also so patient and attentive, always checking in on me with her sweet “¿Cómo vamos?” to make sure I was doing okay during the hike.The hike itself was challenging but absolutely beautiful, and reaching La Chorrera was so rewarding. The scenery along the way was breathtaking, and the traditional Colombian food afterward was really good and the perfect way to finish the day.I’m honestly so happy I made the decision to do this tour. The experience was amazing! Camilo was our guide, he gave us a very personalized experience. What I love about the tour is that you are picked up wherever you are staying, you can observe the life of the community around the La Chorrera waterfall and the food was very good. It is a tour that makes you connect with nature. I recommend it 100%!!

The hike and the views are really impressing. My guide Myra provided a lot of information on the fauna and the flora of the paramo and was sensible to the issue of the altitude (bit of pression in my ears in my case).

Daniel was a fantastic guide with good ornithological knowledge. The Sumapaz Páramo is a spectacular natural area worth a visit.

Had a great time! Our guide, Ricardo, was super sweet and very informative, I really enjoyed chatting with him I would consider this a medium hike, leaning towards hard when it's wet or raining. Take your time and plenty of breaks, especially if you're not used to walking at high altitudes (I live on sea level, so my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest!) Beautiful views, and the trek felt very rewarding. Would not recommend to anyone with heart or breathing issues,

Overall, a really great experience! It was definitely well worth the price! I could've spent more time in the park or with the Guide, but I wanted to do a quick experience, and we still didn't miss a thing. The Guide ALFACA was extremely knowledgeable and super helpful with everything. 10 out of 10 will recommend.

Diego was our private tour guide. He was amazing! He shared lots of information about Bogota and the surrounding area. He was very patient with us during the hike. We were slow hikers and stopped many times to take photos. The lunch was delicious. The views were amazing and the hike was peaceful. We only saw about a dozen people (we went on a Wednesday). I would recommend this tour for those that enjoy the great outdoors and want a moderate challenge. Definitely bring some good shoes.
