Top Colmar Christmas

Punctual, friendly driver. Warm, clean, spacious vehicle. We were driven from market/village to market/village and did not have to brave the parking challenges. I cannot recommend using this service to travel to the Christmas markets at the villages near Colmar on these insanely crowded days. It was perfect!

My mom and I booked this tour and I'm so happy we did! Didier was a wonderful tour guide, and we had a wonderful time with the other 2 guests that were on the tour with us. I definitely would recommend!

This day trip was all worth it for us, I think it would be hard to cover all 3 borders on our own in one day. We give ALL the credit to Christian who patiently toured us around, took our pictures, constantly checking if there is something else we wanted to see/do other than what's included in the tour. When everything was almost done, Christian bought our adult kids tickets to climb and explore the Basel Minster Towers--this was one of the kids' unforgettable experiences during the tour. We enjoyed it immensely, visiting the Christmas markets in Freiburg and Basel was worth it. At the end of the tour, Christian gave us time to buy souvenirs and goodies and gifted us with a bottle of Alsace wine-- that was very thoughtful.

What a fabulous day! Cristian went above and beyond to ensure we all had a fantastic experience. Informative, efficient and ensured our two young children were also comfortable along the journey. Navigating the busy Christmas market traffic, he got us to the ‘front door’ each time and was ready to take us to the next destination every time. A special mention - at the spur of the moment, he even organised a restaurant reservation for the whole group to dine together, which was lovely. Highly recommended.

Brilliant trip to two fantastic Christmas markets. Ribeauville was the absolute star of the show. When they said it was a medieval market, we were not prepared for just what that meant. Traditional costumes, food, music, performances. It was amazing. The town itself is like something out of a painting. Gorgeous colourful chocolate box buildings and so many little shops to dip into.Colmar was very busy and a bit spread out, by comparison, but enjoyable, especially after dark. Overall, we would recommend this trip.

A fabulous trip with our driver Didier. We were picked up from our Airbnb before meeting the rest of the group, handy for me being 7 months pregnant! Didier was professional, friendly and attentive, keeping everyone informed on what was happening, timings, historical information on each market etc. Our group of 11 were all English speaking, and Didier accomodated this very well! We were given time to explore the markets at Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), Basel (Switzerland) and Eguisheim (France).If visiting Basel, be aware not all the stalls accept card, and not all accept Euros.We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Didier and would highly recommend the trip as a day out if your holiday allows.

This was a wonderful tour. It was so amazing to be able to be dropped off and picked up right at the markets. Ivan was a great guide and very accommodating.

As advertised, we drove to three markets starting in Freiburg, Basel and Egesheim. The group was split into two vans, so while Didier was our main contact, we had Julia and Gael with us. While they didn't speak fluent English, one would appreciate how they hard they tried to communicate and share bits and pieces of information about the places we passed through. Once at the markets, Didier took the lead in explaining and giving a bit of background about each of the markets we visited.Overall, it was a good excursion. However, I think Basel wasn't that special or different from the others. In fact, most of the kiosks only took cash and none of us had Swiss francs. Freiburg was good; Egesheim was the best but we stayed there the shortest. Perhaps, the tour organizers consider replacing Basel with some place more interesting and allocate more time in Egesheim.

This tour was a fun way to visit three countries in one day. Travel time takes a bit between the locations, which doesn’t leave that long at each stop.

I loved the tour. Beautiful markets and beautiful Alsacian villages. The wine tasting was also fantastic. Tour very well organized, being the car driver Leiya quite available and friendly. This tour will stay for life. I recommend.

Christian was very responsive through WhatsApp before the tour. He was a great tour guide with tons of local Alsatian info. We had a great day and would definitely tour with him again.

A great tour of the small towns and Christmas markets around Colmar! Having a driver was very convenient since it was so busy, also gave helpful tips and interesting history! Definitely recommend
