Really recommended as you can walk around listenting to the history of Chicen Itz anad its buildings.

This audio tour made exploring Chichen Itza so much easier. Narration synced perfectly with my walk, providing great historical context at my own pace. We also used GuideAlong for our Tulum visit, and both experiences were fantastic. Highly recommend for a flexible, informative trip!

Well worth a visit with a guide. There is a new entrance on the right hand side when coming form ythe Cancun/Tulum direction with a large concrete car park (Cost 124 pesos) and as a tip the older direction signage hasnt been replaced yet, There are lots of people trying to get you to stop before the offical entrance, I suggest that you ignore them I had my wife with me and a wheelchair for her. (You really need wide wheels on the chair) I negotiated a one hour english guide price (Official guide cost is 1,300 pesos) with one of the freelanceers waiting at the entrance who helped me push the wheelchair around (Cost 1,000 pesos) That was a greta help for me as its hot and humid there The guide was very informative and surprisingly to me Chicken Itza is an AD monument We were there around 10.00 am and missed the big crowds coming off the tour coaches which arrived from 11.00 onwards There are lots of sellers along the walking route from the car park into the site and again you should haggle hard

This audio guide was a great way for me to be able to visit Chichen Itza without having to join a big tour group or hire a private guide (1300 pesos at the gate 😬).For me, it was a bit light on information at a couple of stops - but it did provide a nice route to walk that built up to the most impressive ruins really nicely, and with the combination of this plus the text boards at each stop (which were in English), I was happy with the visit. Google on the way home also helped fill some gaps for me!There are a couple of places where the info point is not quite in the right location, and the walking path mapped can’t always be followed exactly because the site has obviously roped off some sections since it was produced. But these are little things, and for the price point I’d definitely use one of these again.

Everything you need to know the site independently. When I downloaded the guide I had some trouble opening it (after entering the code it re-asked me for the code again, as if it didn't take it. Just close the app and reopen it to fix). Geolocation works well, when you pass in front of the place of explanation the audio starts by itself (so the earphones should always be kept). But you can also start the explanation yourself, even if I consider it less convenient.

Very easy to use and a great value for getting around Chichen Itza with the equivalent of a guide. We were really happy to do this tour!

Very interesting information about the site. I could go at my own pace away from the crowds and get back anywhere in the trajectory.
