Top Chichen Itza Attraction Tickets

My 2nd time visiting Chichen Itza. The new visitor center is much nicer than the old one. Our guide was wonderful, the over all venue and main temple is incredible. There are many merchants trying to sell items but they were not as pushy about in 2026 as they were in 2021.If you have a rental car, definitely drive there from Canun. Its an easy and safe drive on a 4 lane Highway. The little town outside the park looks more sketchy than it really is. Drive directly to the main entrance, people near the entrance may try to have you park on their property.My only annoyance is with Cool Destinations ticketing communication. Purchasing through them did save me a few dollars. But it Was Not Clear in the app how I obtained the admission ticket. The App showed a page with a Barcode but also stated "This is not your ticket" Download your ticket, which just puts the user in an very annoying loop. In reality I just needed to find the Tour Operator's desk, to left of the ticket windows, and show them the page with QR Code.

Was able to reach company with questions. Easy process to get our skip-the-line tickets. We highly recommend.

Advance tickets were the best! Allowed us to walk right in! Plan for heat and crowds. Ignore ALL parking vendors until you get to the actual venue gate!

Great to see the ruins. Commercial vendors everywhere kind of ruin the feeling of the ruins. Go early or late afternoon. Less people.

Smooth system with one glitch. After I ordered the tickets, I had to wait until the day before to receive the actual park entry tickets and have them printed at the hotel. Would have been much better if I could have just printed the tickets when I place the order. Also, there were two tickets and it was unclear what ticket was for what.

My experience with amigo tours was very good my toyr guide was frank and the driver was richard both very kind. when I was waiting for the group to come back from the ruins the driver let me on thw bus early to cool off. And frank is very funny and interactive gives you lots of information. The visit was around 2 hours a place the bus ride to each of them were 45 min to 1 hour. The bus atmosphere is clean and even has a bathroom. Crown size was 30 people full bus. But if u want your can go alone. The fee for one person was around 130 cad. Very good trip!!!

Better to buy tickets in advance with extra cost and save time on long queue. The park is great and many people.

I booked with amigo tours and got verryyyy lucky by getting juam. He was perfect and very fun and made the whole way very very very exciting, I love u juam and very proud of u by quitting smoking and drinking thank u for sharing that with us and motivating people to do better. Entrance requires TWO tickets per person… one for Mexican Government and one for Mayan People… important to understand! Thrilled to skip the long line for such a busy tourist site!

Beautiful Experience to see the Chichén Itzá Pyrimid ! Best archeological site! Very informative and creative tour! 100% reccomend!

We had a great experience with Amigo Tour, our guides Pastor, Jorge and Audomaro were great, we learned a lot about Mayan culture visiting Chichen Itza, we visited and bathed in a cenote, we had a very good lunch with buffet of tacos and Mexican food and delicious drinks. And we close with a visit to a 100% Mayan city: Valladolid which has among several houses a spectacular church. Beautiful everything. And see: among hundreds of people, I lost my cell phone in Chichen Itza and it was returned in a few minutes at the place of lost and found. We bought our tickets in advance and it really was the best decision. We didn't have to wait in line, which was quite long. We went directly to the ticket exchange and entered - the process didn't even take 1 minute!

It's convenient to have the tickets. Time is gained. Only they had not sent them to me by email, so they located them by my name, luckily

Truly amazing to visit Chichen Itza. Cool Destinations tickets were cost effective. Would have been helpful to have better directions to know where to pickup tickets and given advice in advance to bring lots of water, hats and maybe an umbrella. It is very hot there and there is no shade.

Ticket purchase in advance is a good idea for any site or museum if available. Lines move quickly and not standing in line and waiting.

Did the job perfectly. The only thing is that their office is not very visible; it’s on the right side of the main turnstiles but there is always somebody who can show you the way. Very quick service !
