fernando is well experienced driver /tour guide as he’s very knowledgeable about the country and every question asked was answered willingly and informatively. He was very helpful, kind and would go above and beyond to attend to our requests . The trip in itself is more than enjoyable and worth it! loved the inclusive coffee with cheese and tortilla the delish lunch and dinner and fresh healthy fruit juices. All of it i enjoyed and made me fall in love in costa rica as well with the beautiful luscious forest volcano and plantations

Wow, wow, and more wow! Our guide and driver, Alex, curated a magical day of surprises and delights. We give him a solid 200 out of 10! He turned city traffic jams into an introduction to the geography and culture of Costa Rica using a map the entire van could see. What might look like a long drive in the description became a journey of discovery at each of Alex’s carefully chosen spots. Lunch and dinner were filling and delicious. We stayed on schedule without feeling rushed, with multiple stops to break up the trip. The landscape is unbelievably beautiful and well worth the drive. The Arenal volcano delivers - we even saw steam from yesterday’s eruption! The hot springs is a relaxing and beautiful place with a view of the volcano and pools surrounded with flowers, bamboo, and so much greenery. Waterfalls, animals, surprises, beauty, and fun - the perfect day withe the perfect guide.

We had such an amazing time on this tour, you definitely get your moneys worth! Our tour guide Steven was amazing. You could tell he loved his job with the way he shared the culture of Costa Rica on the ride to La Fortuna. We even made a stop to see sloths! He gave us picture recommendations and even took pictures for us as well! All of the stops were jaw dropping. The coffee, juice, snacks and meals were all delicious! The zipline was incredible, and the tour guides were amazing as well, made you feel safe and secure throughout the experience. The Maleku village demonstration was a great way to end the zipline! And the hot springs were the perfect way to end the adventure, a nice way to relax! Definitely book here for a once in a lifetime experience!

We had a tour with Julio and Byron through Tripmasters. These two gentleman were top-notch and a delight. They were personable, knowledgable, and found the craziest hidden wildlife along the tour. This is a nice hike through the rain forest. I was nervous about the bridges as I am afraid of heights, but once we got to the first bridge it wasn't bad at all. The views take over and you forget you are suspended high above the forest. Julio also did a great job at calming my nerves. The views were stunning and the wildlife we saw was so cool! I liked that we happened to be there in low season and didn't have to compete with large groups of people.

Alex is the best guide you could ask for! He is very attentive, sweet, caring, and funny. We enjoyed many stops to check out waterfalls, iguanas, birds, and some sloths. I recommend this tour to everyone! Thank you Alex for such a special day filled with smiles and laughs!

The guided tour was phenomenal! Chris was so kind, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. He spotted so many animals we never would have noticed on our own and even took great pictures for us along the way. It rained for the first hour, but it was still completely worth it. Having a guide made such a difference, and we’re so glad we did it!

The zip lining was incredible! The hanging bridges were beautiful! The entire experience was so amazing, I highly recommend this experience. The grounds were extremely well kept and the staff were phenomenal. We had lunch at the restaurant, which was fresh, hot and delicious. 5-stars all around!

What an incredible day in the Monteverde cloud forest! Our guide Kevin and our driver Christian were the best! They picked our family up at our villa in Tamarindo at 5:30am and took us into the mountains to zipline, see sloths and hike through the forest and hanging bridges. The ziplines were exciting and the cloudforest was beautiful! I would highly recommend this full day trip with Native’s Way to see and experience a different part of the country. Be sure to ask for Kevin and Christian!

Ronald was so knowledgeable and provided a great tour! We went with our kids, ages 11 and 14, and everyone was able to do the hike. It was mostly an easy path but it did get steeper towards the top. It was totally worth it to be able to hike on the lava rocks and see the view from the top of the climb!Our guide had a lot to share about the eruption in 1968 and everything that was around us as well as being very patient with everyone on the tour (it was a group of 7 in total). We enjoyed the walking sticks that were provided at the start of the hike (they were especially helpful for the trip down) and the pineapple at the end. We did get a little rain at the top and on the way down, but it felt good after the climb!I would definitely recommend this trip, especially if you’re looking for a short hike and an opportunity to get onto part of the volcano.

The hike was guided by Gilbert and his companion Christian as the transportation driver. The activity was conducted on time and perfectly in every way: they picked us up at the hotel as agreed, and after picking up the rest of the clients, we went hiking on a circular trail of a solidified lava flow from the Arenal volcano in the 1970s. The route is beautiful, full of plants where Gilbert explains everything in detail and with love for his work. I would rate the difficulty of the trail as medium-low, but if you do not have good physical condition, you could still do it but with more caution than the others. It is worth immersing yourself among tropical plants that create a microclimate on the slopes of the volcano, with small animals and birds hidden among the treetops, including hummingbirds! It is a very beautiful trail that ends at a café on top of a hill where I recommend having a specialty coffee espresso, where the waiter who served us was very kind to us... In summary, Jacamar has shown us enormous kindness and professionalism, and after the tour, Christian was waiting for us with a freshly cut pineapple that was delicious, as a nice gesture, and then they took us to the contracted "Paradise Hot Springs" just after the hike. At the end, another companion from Jacamar picked us up at the agreed time to take us back to our hotel... A wonderful day with intense activity in the morning and extreme relaxation at noon that I recommend you add to your trip without a doubt 🙌

Definitely an experience even though the volcano was wrapped in fog when we reached the top point. Delicious hiking in well-hilled terrain and wildlife. Good informative guides with each their competencies. Delicious right to round with the hot springs to the end.

Everything was very good; on top of that, we had a sunny day, very lucky. Jason led the tour; he was a great guide.

Overall great day! Fernando did a great job communicating the tour itinerary and plan for the day, as well as providing us with cultural and historical facts about Costa Rica. Fernando coordinated dropping my group off for our zip line adventure while the remaining participants did something else. The soak at the hot springs was the perfect way to end the day! We had heavy rain for ~2 hours while we were driving, but it cleared up so our afternoon activities were dry.

Alex is a very friendly and good-humored guide. He was approachable and always seemed excited to answer questions and help each guest make the most of their experience.
