This was an awesome tour for me, as I am interested in archaeology and medieval history. The Altamira Museum showcased historical culture and art. The tour guide told us interesting stories of the discoveries of many of the cave paintings. We also enjoyed the beauty of the town of Santillana del Mar, which has many ancient buildings.

I took nice photos while in this tour within Santillana, as it is such a scenic region. In this tour, the participants were taken to various ares of the vineyard called Miradorio Bodega. It was educative for me to know about wine-making techniques which are uniquely traditional to this region of Santillana. I tasted atleast 3 homemade types of wines with very unique flavors. Entertaining and calm experience.
Lots of complete information, they orient you to the surroundings and the visit does not involve much walking. They gave us a book with information about Santoña, it is not about listening to someone talk the whole time, it is also just looking. We watched a 4 min video at the factory and they are open to questions. They were very kind and attentive.

The origin of the temple is the monastery built in the year 870 which, according to tradition, preserved the relics of Saint Julien. It was transformed into a collegiate church during the 11th century, but the present monument dates from the 12th century. A very complete visit to get to know Santoña better. It covers both history and nature, in addition to showing how they work in the cannery. Everything very well explained. Both Nicolás and the girl who showed us the factory did it in a very clear and enjoyable way.

The tour was very nice. Especially for us an extra guide to do the tour in English. First, a piece of history. Then the walk, unfortunately no spoonbill seen. Then visit to the factory. We were allowed to look anywhere. Was special. We really enjoyed it. Nicolas and Mateo did very nice.
