Top Cambodia Private Sightseeing Tours

Our tour guide Praim was lovely. Very knowledgeable and interesting. We really enjoyed our day with him. He was on time picking us up from our hotel and provided us with bottles of nice cold water to stay hydrated in the heat. Praim was polite and patient. We highly recommend him. It was sad to say good-goodbye at the end of the tour because we really enjoyed our time with him. The sunrise was pretty to watch as the temple came into view. The history of the temples was impressive. And we could visit as many or as few temples as we wanted to with Praim. Going at the end of September was good as there weren’t too many people. This allowed us to easily get the photos we wanted to take and there was no waiting to get into any of the temples. The price for entry and the tour guide was good value.

Mr T and Tim were absolutely amazing guides!!! From the pick up to the drop off it was faultless! Tim always had the bus cool and waiting for us when we finished seeing a temple and a much needed cold water and towel awaited. Mr T was so knowledgeable and funny! There was a perfect balance of information and time to take photos. We had a beautiful meal during the day also that we had to pay for ourselves but it was again, very cool and very cheap and delicious. I highly recommend Mr T and Tim! Five stars for both 🤩

Highly recommend - your guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of insights into the history of Cambodia and the Cambodian people. The tour was well paced - allowing for enough time to see in detail the many sights and temples and also allowing for small breaks and refreshments to break up a hot day. We did the sunrise tour which was magical and really helped to beat the heat of the day. Tour bus driver was great and considerate - always greeting us with a cold towel and bottle of water between each stop. Great advice for the best places to get photos too! We travelled with my parents (late 60s) and kids (10 and 13) and the tour had something for all of us.

Booking was quick and easy and we got a response via WattsApp quite quickly, confirming everything. They also sent out tips and all the links on WattsApp for booking the temple pass (not included in the tour price). Our guide: Bun, was waiting for us in the hotel lobby a few minutes earlier than planned at 4.40 am and took us to the minibus (despite it being a private tour for my hubby and me). It was comfortable, cool and clean. He introduced us to the driver: Vireak, and explained the plans for the morning. The weather was wet, warm and humid and they'd brought umbrellas for us all. The only one improvement that they could have made would be to provide torches as it is very dark before sunrise and the temples have lots of uneven paths and steep steps. We picked this tour specifically as we didn't want to be held up by a larger group. So glad we picked this as we sailed past many other large tours and took quieter routes. Bun also painted out some really good photo opportunities that I noticed the larger groups were missing out on. After the first temple (Angkor Wat) where we didn't get the lovely sunrise we hoped for due to the rain and clouds, but was still stunning, Vireak met us at a different gate to where we started (the benefit of having a separate driver) wig water and a cold towel, and took us to a place for breakfast where they did lovely coffee but also allow people to take their own food with no hassle to buy anything. We did take a breakfast box from the hotel but but coffee and a smoothie. The next 2 temples had similar experiences with Bun taking excellent photos of hubby and I.and telling us all about the history, both ancient and modern and finally took us back to the hotel. In summary, we rarely book tours, preferring to arrange everything at our pace but we had limited time at Siem Reap and this trip worked perfectly for us, being able to see 3 main temples (and a few brief photo stops whenever we wanted). The price was excellent (not the cheapest but far from the most expensive) as were our driver and guide, the vehicle was comfortable and clean and they provided water and fresh, cold face towels each time we got back in the bus. The added bonus of us not having to find anything out and navigating areas we were unfamiliar with made our brief trip much more enjoyable and less rushed. Unfortunately, they couldn't do anything about the rain!

Chan and her drivers were beyond amazing and wonderful!, taking us to local markets where we had watermelon slices, beer and cooked insects. We saw farmers with their ducks and water buffalo in rice fields. All three ambassadors of Cambodia were more than gracious and showed us an amazing adventure! Thank you!!

Great walk through the city thanks to my tour guide

Chan our guide was warm and friendly and enthusiastic and spoke excellent English. The drivers Riy and Toeum were also friendly and drove us safely. We saw buffalo, ducks and goats everyday life in the countryside. Chan showed us around the market, where our driver showed us how to eat insects :-) We enjoyed a beautiful sunset at the end. A great experience too for our teenage boys.

Rain was very responsive and helpful before our arrival in Siem Reap. I asked for a slightly bespoke trip given this was my third visit to Angkor. Based on this Rain tailored our visit to some of the quieter temples away for the crowds. Very knowledgeable and super helpful, he made our trip informative and hassle free. Many thanks Rain and all the very best!

A great experience seeing the culture and immersion. Traveled in a tuk tuk so little walking was required. Guide was grit, adaptabile as we had seen some of the sights before. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

This walk was a great way to learn about some aspects of Cambodian life and see some of the main sights in Siem Reap. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the start to our holiday very memorable:)

Quality full-day or half-day tour proposals. Choun is very nice, gives explanations about sites. He also gives good advice. I really enjoyed these days 🙂 Thanks Choun!

Choun is a very good tour driver. Attentive, smily, Excelent English speaking with very good knowledge about the general history of the different places with visited. I strongly recommend him. Good price for quality.

Our first trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Thankfully, were told by a friend to contact Mr. Theng through What'sApp (85517575793) before going. We did, and are so thankful! We cannot say enough about how he cared for us, guiding us to and through what we wanted and needed to see and experience; but also suggested what to miss or reschedule due to crowds, over-hype, or a complete waste of time or money. We will absolutely be using Mr. Theng on our next trip next year. Wholeheartedly & without reservation recommend Mr. Theng to the fullest!

Lovely way to spend a morning, being taken around local hidden gems, the guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. Thanks you to you and the driver.

A sensational day. Mr T was an excellent guide, learnt so much about the history. It was brilliant and Tim the driver took great care of us. Went for the sunrise tour, and it was amazing, had a great spot to watch the sunrise. Mr T was also a brilliant photographer. The temples really were amazing, and this is the way to go around to see the main ones and learn the history. The early morning is better to beat majority of the crowd and heat. The food was brilliant, they catered to my dietary requirements (coeliac & vegetarian)

Mr T was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We arrived early, so we had front row to the Ankor Wat sun rise. The restaurant we had brunch at was real nice especially with a/c! I highly recommend this tour with Mr. T(Tim).
