Clever interactive walking tour, simple to download and use and made for a very interesting and informative walk around Bodo

We recently cruised the Northern Lights on the Emerald Princess, as a result of weather safety issues, they canceled our stop at the Lofoten Islands, two days before arriving. We had booked two tours with Heart of Lofoten. After contacting them they fully understood and refunded the tour cost within the same day. They were very accommodating and flexible. I fully recommend Heart of Lofoten as a company who understands the cruise industry and its challenges. We had booked the tour almost a year in advance with a deposit and had paid balance only a couple of days before arriving. They truly behaved exceptionally and very friendly. Lofoten was going to be the highlight of our trip and unfortunately will have to go back. I will definitely reach out to Heart of Lofoten.

Definitely a good intro to Bodo! The walk lasted about an hour and a half, and we got some great historical context of the town. We did get turned around a couple of times. However, the app told us when we headed in the wrong direction, so we weren't confused for long.

The orientation was not always easy to understand, to be honest. Geocoordination on the map section would certainly be easier if the map were backed up, for example, by an aerial view of a map service (e.g. openstreetmap). But on the whole a good app, good instructions for starting. This is really great if you want to experience Bodø without an organized tour.

This was the perfect option for me because I am travelling solo. It was a great way of introducing Bodo, to learn about the city and get a sense of orientation. The app was easy to access and use and I really liked being told when I had wandered off in the wrong direction! Recommend to everyone visiting Bodo for the first time.

I was told some interesting facts about the history of this city. It is nice that you can walk the walk at your own pace and take the time to explore a little better in between. Too bad the cathedral was closed and I would have liked to have come across some more museums. The part about the pier was too long, especially since you had to walk back the same way.
