Top Berat County Climbing

Superb day spent with Flow Albania at Osumi Canyon. The hotel pickup in Berat was right on time, the van was very comfortable, and the driver drove calmly, which helped avoid motion sickness! Hearty and local lunch. We arrived at the Bogova waterfall quite early, we were able to enjoy it alone with our small group, it was magical! And the canyon descent was very pleasant in this summer heat! Flow Albania provides all the equipment and we just have to let ourselves be guided! Plus, our guides were very friendly, an excellent day for our family.

Wonderful half-day with the Flow Albania team. Here is the schedule for a half-day: shuttle departure from Berat at 08:30, 1 hour shuttle ride to the place where we get equipped for the activity, 30 min shuttle ride to reach the canyon equipped with our helmet, life jacket, wetsuit, etc., 2 hours of tubing and swimming. Photos were taken throughout the descent. Several instructors are next to us on foot to help us out if needed. At the end of the activity, a 10-minute steep climb to reach the van that drops us back off at the place where we left our belongings and to return the equipment. Link to the WhatsApp group provided to retrieve the photos taken during the descent, which are posted that same evening. Shower available. For those who take the meal option (our case), we ate around 1:00 PM in a typical restaurant with all the participants. Then return to Berat. Arrival around 3:00 PM. Gold-star staff! Very fun! A must-see in Berat.

I travelled here as part of a group of 9 people. It was a lovely day.We travelled to the waterfall first and the guide was very knowledgeable on the history and natural resources in the area. We arrived first at the waterfall and had it to ourselves. Then a bus of teenagers arrived. Shattering the solitude!!! The temperature of the water is cold for all countries except the Irish and the English tourists!The driver was very safe and conscientious. He also had the retro dance tunes on the go, which I enjoyed.We stopped for a break!Then we had our lunch which in fairness was disjointed. We arrived and went to the viewing point and came back and sat at our table. Then we were given bread and salad with tomato/pepper/onion and we had had glasses but no water. We were served Greek yogurt and chips, finally the meat came. Then I had to ask for water. We were all fed and there was enough for us all.The Canyon was cool, but the shoes are super thin for walking on the rocky river bed. I'd say wear an old pair of runners or sandals with a proper sole. We had good fun and the group was good fun. I would strongly recommend if in Berat to do it! By the end of the day we were all exhausted

The experience itself is amazing - we went tubing (instead of rafting because of a low water level this time of the year. The views are great and the tour guides really made it fun and safe.However, our booking got messed up and I advise everyone to triple check what you book. We were booked in for a hike/swim thingy which we did not want to do. Also, we planned on going rafting up until arriving and them telling us it would be tubing instead. And then we were put with a group without tubes at all, as I mentioned above. After asking about it we got tubes and joined the other group, but the owner/guides were keen on showing me that I was wrong and that I was supposed to have looked better into what I booked. So yeah, maybe good to change this on the booking platform + not calling it rafting if this is not possible at the time being.

Friendly, good lunch, good experience. Good views me and my partner enjoyed it very much would recommend it.

A magical day in Osumi Canyon – wild, rough and beautiful! 🌄The trip through Osumi Canyon was a real nature adventure! The scenery is dramatic and impressive: steep rock faces, mysterious caves and waterfalls that rush into the depths like silver veils. The water was not clear, but milky-white – due to the mud that mixes with the river after rains. But that's exactly what gave the canyon an almost mystical atmosphere, as if we were paddling through liquid marble.🚣‍♂️ Our guide – a real highlight! Although he told little about the history of the canyon, he was an absolute professional in terms of safety, organization and mood. With his calm manner, humor and sense of group, he made the day a real experience. He knew exactly when we needed a break, where the best spots for photos were and how to get through confidently even in slippery areas. His positive energy was transferred to everyone – we laughed a lot and felt completely comfortable.✨ What made this trip special:• The wild beauty of the canyon – unpolished and authentic • The milky water that gave it an almost surreal touch • The perfect balance of adventure and relaxation • A guide who took care of our safety and good mood with heart and mindIf you really want to experience Albania, you should not miss this canyon.
