Vitto made our day fantastic! Alberobello and Matera are both historic and amazing sites; must see places! Very informative and comfortable traveling with him, a Bari native. He spoke Greek with my husband and we ended our day in Alberobello singing Frank Sinatra with one of the shop owners!

This was a little pricier but well worth it. It was just the four of us, me my husband, my daughter and her boyfriend. Enzo (short for Vincenzo) picked us up in front of our hotel, our first stop Polignano a mare. Lovely town by the sea, the specialty coffee and gelato he suggested as a must were delicious! Enzo gave as a run down of the place then we spent some time exploring. Next was Alberobello, beautiful town of trulli huts. We wanted to see the old stone town of Matera so he organised a tuk tuk tour for us. Best idea ever as it is so big and steep we would never see as much as we did! Our guide was amazing too! The whole time he was happy to make changes as we wanted! Thank you! On the way home we asked for some ideas for restaurants and bars and he gave us some good tips! The local restaurant Enzo suggested was amazing! Very good food, thank you for that! Super happy with the service! 🤩

If I could give this tour more than 5 stars, I would! The tour is fully customizable, and our wonderful guide (Gabry) was very knowledgeable and made recommendations that helped us choose the perfect day for us. We visited Alborabello and Locorotondo, two beautiful towns, and he was able to explain the history and get around like a local. He even arranged a wine tasting/lunch for us. Highly recommend!

We were switched to the pasta making tour. The guide and the experience was absolutely wonderful and perfect for us. My husband is obsessed with making pasta by hand. When I checked in with the clerk, I spoke Italian so the clerk started speaking Italian ery quickly. I didn't understand her, but nodded. She switched us to the other tour, but I didn't know. It was deliightful but confusing when we didn't get lots of food. It really was the most fortunate change for us. I loved getting a view of the way a local woman liives by sitting with her in her kitchen.

This was a very interesting and enjoyable private tour and a great way to experience both Alberobello and Matera in one day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and added a lot to the experience. I also thought the price was very reasonable for a private tour, and having cold bottled water provided was especially appreciated on such a hot day.Alberobello was fascinating. The famous trulli houses were trulli amazing! They are unlike anything I had ever seen before and were a lot of fun to photograph. I also got to try prickly pear for the first time, which was a nice little unexpected experience along the way.Matera was probably the highlight for me. I had never experienced a city quite like it. Walking through the Sassi and seeing how homes, churches, and other spaces were actually carved into the rock was fascinating. The history of the city is incredible, and as someone who loves both history and photography, I could have spent hours exploring and photographing it.The church was another highlight. The incredibly ornate interior and all of the gold and silver decoration absolutely blew me away. It was unbelievably beautiful and one of those places where photographs really don't prepare you for seeing it in person.The only thing I would caution people about is the amount of walking. We happened to visit during an unusually hot period this year, and there is quite a bit of walking involved, including hills and steps. Keep the weather and time of year in mind when booking. On a cooler day, it would have been much more comfortable.Overall, this was an excellent day trip from Bari and a very good value for a private tour. If you enjoy history, architecture, photography, and experiencing places that are truly different from anywhere else, I highly recommend it.
