Anthony is a wonderful person and very well organized. We visited the magnificent villages of Lourmarin, Roussillon, Gordes... We had enough time in each village and returned to the cruise port on schedule. A big thank you to Anthony for his kindness and professionalism.

My husband and I booked a private tour of Provence from Avignon with David. He was extremely helpful and made the process seamless. Then, he introduced us to our tour guide, Richard, who designed a beautiful day in Provence for us. Richard was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and we spent a wonderful time visiting the markets of St Rémy, the psychiatric hospital where Vincent Van Gogh stayed, the rugged hill town of Les Baux de Provence, amongst other things. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go again if back in Provence. A must do when in the region!

Herve was a phenomenal guide. He evaluated my interests and expectations of this booking and met all of them. We drove up to the top of Cap Canaille for stunning views of Cassis and the Mediterranean. We toured Marseille, including the Basilica, Palais Longchamps, the ports and harbors. We walked around Aix- en- Provence and finished the tour with a visit to an overlook of the Calanques Canyons. Herve was informative and very personable.

My self and four children visited the beautiful Côte Bleue, we ordered 3 taxis from Smart VTC and the service was outstanding, our extremely kind driver went above and beyond to help accommodate our needs, going the extra mile to take us to a supermarket, and to get food for the children before dropping us at the airport. Available via txt, with a super fast response time, clean and comfortable vehicle. 10/10 hightly recommend.

Excellent tour with Marie! We had a last-minute change of plan of the schedule because of unexpected circumstances but Marie was very kind to cater to our request. We had a wonderful time exploring villages in Provence and saw the lavender fields at sunset time. Communication through email with the company (my point of contact was Remi) was easy and efficient. Overall, cannot recommend enough if you need a private tour in Provence!

This was the fourth of 4 exceptional private tours with Romain from Guide Provence. We had so much fun! We learned so much! This tour was worth every penny. I highly recommend Guide Provence and Romain for all of your private tour needs!Romain met us in front of Aix’s tourist information center, an easy walk from our hotel. He showed us all around the streets and alleyways of Aix, pointing out certain stores, museums, buildings, Cezanne's childhood school and home, university buildings, and churches while regaling us with fun historical details and vignettes about all kind of things -- art, history, culture, and more. Fantastic!We then hopped in his very comfortable, roomy car and he drove us to Cassis, taking the scenic route, stopping at a gorgeous overlook of Cassis and The Calanques National Park on a beautiful windy day that refreshingly threatened rain from time to time. Just as we got back in the car for the rest of the drive to Cassis, the clouds let loose — it was spectacular!Cassis was colorful and charming, unique and refreshing. It was so different from all of the other towns we had visited so far. We stopped at a cute cafe and had a delicious spread of local wine, local cheeses, shrimp, mussels, bread, greens, olives, pickles, and the like. The meal and conversation were memorable and such a treasured part of our visit. (Romain is so fun and easy to be around!) After lunch, we walked around the port and the town as he told us more about the local geography, the Calanques, the local history and culture before taking the drive back to our Aix hotel. (I'm aware that a boat tour of the Calanques is a typical add-on to a tour of Cassis, but the wind, weather, and choppy seas did not lend themselves to boating that day, so I did not bring it up. Neither did Romain. We had an extraordinary time nevertheless!)Throughout our 4 different private tours with Romain, he readily adapted aspects of our tours to the weather, to any logistical problem of the moment, to any stated desires. This is just one of the reasons that I often hire a private tour guide on so many of my vacations. My friends, family, and I all love to learn. Natassja, our guide, was everything you could hope for - knowledgeable, friendly, patient and obviously had good contacts with the vendors and restaurants. The information, explanations and examples she gave us were very useful.

We had a great tour with Nastassja, she was super personable and enjoyable to listen to. We discovered great treats and food within the heart of Avignon! We ate well throughout the tour and were able to sample some local produce from the region. We left full and satisfied! We enjoyed chatting with Natssaja, she also provided us with great reccomendations after the tour! We would highly reccomend this tour as a great introduction to Avignon!

We requested a tour for a group of five and were able to travel by car while receiving guidance in Japanese. She was very kind, she even booked a lovely restaurant for lunch, and she negotiated things for us, so we had a wonderfully comfortable day. Since this is my first time experiencing a free guided tour, I can't tell if the price of this tour is high or average. However, for those who want a Japanese guide in a place they don't visit often, I highly recommend it.
