We had the absolute pleasure of doing the Sound of Music tour in Salzburg with Jose, and he was exceptional from start to finish. His warmth, humour, passion, and deep knowledge made the entire experience unforgettable.Jose brought the movie, the history of Salzburg, and the stories behind the scenes to life in such an engaging and entertaining way. He created such a wonderful atmosphere on the tour - fun, relaxed, informative, and full of energy. You can truly see how much he loves what he does.The scenery was breathtaking, but Jose made the experience even more special with his storytelling, music, and personal touches throughout the day. He was also fantastic with everyone in the group and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.This was one of the highlights of our Austria trip and a memory our family will treasure. We had a great time from start to finish. Our guide Leo was informative, friendly and entertaining. Our driver “Dragon” was also superb and made us feel very safe navigating the small mountain roads. The sleigh ride was well organised and lots of fun, and if you make friends with the right sleigh driver they’ll share their homemade schnapps with you along the way to warm you up. It was snowing heavily on the day so it was cold but beautiful at the same time. A table was pre booked for us at the local restaurant where I had delicious pork knee and sauerkraut. The 1 hr trip back down to Salzburg is picturesque, although I slept on the way back after a big lunch and probably too many shots of schnapps. I highly recommend giving this trip a try, it’s well worth it!

This experience was just brilliant , it was everything we had hoped for, from our very professional driver Dragen to the irresistible Leo who kept us entertained with his history lesson and jokes. The Ramsau valley is not to be missed the sleigh ride was great experience and the scenery breathtaking . This tour is not to be missed, highly recommended and huge thanks to Dragen & Leo

Moritz was an exceptional guide!
I booked this guide as I new I would be arriving early in the day before meeting my travel group. I wanted to take full advantage of the extra time to see the Christmas markets that Vienna Austria had to offer. When I arrived Moritz was my guide and informed me I was the only one who signed up so it was going to be a private tour. We had so much fun! We went to so many Christmas markets and walked around for three hours. It would have been four but I could not do the extra hour as I had no slept in 24 hours. But considering I did well holding on that long. We stopped at each and Moritz was so inviting and excited to tell me everything about his city and the sites. We covered a lot of ground with food, history, sites all over the city within walking distance. I cannot thank him enough for the patience, being so attentive and making me love his city as much as he does! I highly recommend this tour and this guide for Vienna, Austria Christmas market experience and with a ton of history thrown in. Exceptional!

A must whilst in Vienna
Just arrived in the city and this was the perfect way to begin. Walked through all the markets whilst learning about the history of the country. We saw churchs/ museums / statues which allowed us to get a complete overview of the city and to decide what to go back and see. A wonderful informative guide who was happy to accommodate any particular interests or wishes. Cannot recommend highly enough!! 10/10 !!

If you’re looking for a unique wine tasting experience, this is your tour! A short 30 minute train ride gets you out of the city and enjoying the beautiful landscape of Vienna’s wine country. This private tour guided by James, who was so much fun and incredibly knowledgeable about the area, was just what we were looking for. The walk/hike, albeit quite a distance, boasted gorgeous views of picturesque landscapes with a great finish of delicious lunch and wine tasting in a beautiful little town. If you’re looking to get your steps in and want a once in a lifetime experience, this is your full-day excursion!

We started on a city walk and continued by van to see many of the filming sights as well as beautiful scenery. Our guide, Gerard, was VERY knowledgeable. He was very flexible with our choices and we had a wonderful lunch in a charming town after a short hike on The Sound of Music Trail. Anyone who is a fan of the move- or just wants a full tour around will be please.

Pastel-colored houses clinging to the mountainside and the tranquil lakefront promenade, created a naturally romantic backdrop. It was charming to see vibrant flower boxes spilling from windows and wooden boats moored at jetties. The pace of this walking tour was unhurried, allowing us to truly absorb the atmosphere.

James is an amazing guide, his knowledge of Vienna really made the trip. We had a great time and can't recommend him highly enough. James took care of all the safety elements and checked in on us throughout the paddle. It works for absolute beginners or experienced paddlers and was a fantastic way to spend a few hours.

A beautiful day hiking and wine tasting in An amazing day hiking through Switzerland's thermal region. The original plan was to kayak through Wachau Valley, but threats of rain made that option unsafe. Thanks to Venture Vienna, they were able to provide an alternative option, and we were not disappointed! Beautiful views, authentic lunch, and great wines! Phenomenal Experience
My family and I had a terrific time on the tour. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Admittedly, I did not know much about Vienna prior to the tour, but our guide told us a lot of interesting things about the city and why it's so important. The actual kayaking was great too- the boats were lightweight and very easy to move/handle. My mother says that it was the absolute highlight of our trip here to Vienna, and I'd have to agree with that. I'd highly recommend this to anyone visiting the city.

The weather was sunny and our first view of the Austrian countryside was glorious. Leopoldo was our boisterous and utterly charming guide and took care of every detail. There was a minimum of snow so we were on wheels but that didn’t diminish the fun. The homemade schnapps mid ride was a nice touch.

A beautiful and unique experience hosted by Leopold - our excellent tour guide who cared about the guest's welfare with sincerity as well as a great sense of humour and impressive knowledge! The Sleigh ride itself was such fun and a lovely thing to do at Christmas time. Thanks also to the bus driver for navigating the winding roads and Philip the accompanying tour guide. 10/10 recommend! Hasta la vista baby! ;)
