We did the 2-hour tour with David and it was absolutely worth paying for the extra hour!David is incredibly knowledgeable about the crocodiles, wildlife and the whole Daintree River environment. We saw so many crocodiles, and they were completely unfazed by the boat, which meant we were able to get incredibly close while still feeling completely safe.David has such a calm and lovely energy, and you can genuinely tell how much he loves what he does and cares about the crocodiles and the environment. We could have happily spent the whole day on the boat listening to him and exploring the river!The whole experience was fascinating, relaxing and so much fun. Thank you so much, David, for such a brilliant experience. We would absolutely recommend the 2-hour tour to anyone visiting the Daintree — it’s definitely worth the extra time!

This is a must do experience. Despite the fact that we were late for our appointed visit time - got lost on the way - we were welcomed and put on to the next trip out. Fortunately it was a quietish day. It was Roger who took us out on the boat to find the crocodiles - this is not a sanctuary or conservation site but just where these crocodiles live. He was very informative and entertaining on the whole trip and the crocodiles "performed" apparently happily. The Black Kites that followed the boat (they got fed too) put on an amazing flying show as well. It was a great day out and the Cafe is a bonus with a good selection of food and drinks available. There are organised trips (coach etc) to this place but we chose to hire a car which actually suited us financially.

What an amazing day with John as our very knowledgeable funny driver/guide. Moonlit Sanctuary was an absolute highlight of my trip to Melbourne along with the Penguin Parade. Who knew something only 30cm high can run that fast!! John kept us amused and amazed the whole trip with the trivia he has in his head about Melbourne right through to Phillip Island. Linner (lunch/dinner) from John’s recommended restaurant of La Porchetta was very very good.
