Our guide was fantastic full of knowledge and provided extras we didn’t even know we wanted to see. There was an issue with our booking and we ended up sharing the experience but it ended up ok. Money Carlo Monaco and Nice are beautiful destinations that shouldn’t be missed.

Elsi was our guide and he was excellent! So kind to pick us up at our Airbnb in Cannes despite the tour taking place in Monaco, Eze, and Nice. All the sights were covered and he even brought us to Antibes when it was difficult to navigate well in Nice because of the ongoing Iron Man competition. Elsi is very considerate, knew his history and was a pleasure to have as our guide!

We did a walking tour of Antibes. Fran was our guide and she was excellent. We had been to Antibes a few times before but she imparted so much more information, it made us aware of things we hadn’t noticed previously. I do however think that the walking tour should not be advertised as ‘free’ because you are expected to leave a fairly hefty ‘tip’. We were more than happy to do this but it is slightly misleading to have the tour advertised as ‘free’.

My third trip with Azur and probably not my last Ive had 3 different guides and they have all been excellent 3 great and varied vignobles and an excellent lunch stop All 5 of us bought wine which says a lot about the quality

Herve was a phenomenal guide. He evaluated my interests and expectations of this booking and met all of them. We drove up to the top of Cap Canaille for stunning views of Cassis and the Mediterranean. We toured Marseille, including the Basilica, Palais Longchamps, the ports and harbors. We walked around Aix- en- Provence and finished the tour with a visit to an overlook of the Calanques Canyons. Herve was informative and very personable.

I was amazed how seamless the whole experience was! We were greeted by Alexis, great friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Alexis made the tour of Nice, Eze, Monaco & Monte Carlo memorable. We saw spectacular views of France. We want to return and stay longer! The vehicle was immaculate! Clean and stocked with candy, tissue and sanitizer. They also had water in a cooler for us. This was the fourth of 4 exceptional private tours with Romain from Guide Provence. We had so much fun! We learned so much! This tour was worth every penny. I highly recommend Guide Provence and Romain for all of your private tour needs!Romain met us in front of Aix’s tourist information center, an easy walk from our hotel. He showed us all around the streets and alleyways of Aix, pointing out certain stores, museums, buildings, Cezanne's childhood school and home, university buildings, and churches while regaling us with fun historical details and vignettes about all kind of things -- art, history, culture, and more. Fantastic!We then hopped in his very comfortable, roomy car and he drove us to Cassis, taking the scenic route, stopping at a gorgeous overlook of Cassis and The Calanques National Park on a beautiful windy day that refreshingly threatened rain from time to time. Just as we got back in the car for the rest of the drive to Cassis, the clouds let loose — it was spectacular!Cassis was colorful and charming, unique and refreshing. It was so different from all of the other towns we had visited so far. We stopped at a cute cafe and had a delicious spread of local wine, local cheeses, shrimp, mussels, bread, greens, olives, pickles, and the like. The meal and conversation were memorable and such a treasured part of our visit. (Romain is so fun and easy to be around!) After lunch, we walked around the port and the town as he told us more about the local geography, the Calanques, the local history and culture before taking the drive back to our Aix hotel. (I'm aware that a boat tour of the Calanques is a typical add-on to a tour of Cassis, but the wind, weather, and choppy seas did not lend themselves to boating that day, so I did not bring it up. Neither did Romain. We had an extraordinary time nevertheless!)Throughout our 4 different private tours with Romain, he readily adapted aspects of our tours to the weather, to any logistical problem of the moment, to any stated desires. This is just one of the reasons that I often hire a private tour guide on so many of my vacations. My friends, family, and I all love to learn. With an exceptional private tour guide like Romain, all you have to do is show up — and you will learn. All of the typical tourist concerns of unforeseen obstacles on one’s big sightseeing day will fade away — because a great private tour guide will take care of all that, will adapt to the weather, to the unforeseen circumstances, to your individual preferences, for you. Our driver and guide, Benjamin was amazing. He was knowledgeable , flexible, kind and fun! He worked with us while we were planning the tour from the US as we had to coordinate our pick up from the cruise ship. (If traveling with NCL pay for the priority boarding so you can get off on an early tender maximizing your time in town and for excursions outside of the cruise excursions). He was incredibly responsive and timely. The tour was perfect for our family which consisted of a group aged 19 to 76... we enjoyed everything about it. Highly highly highly recommend this tour. We were able to see the highlights of each city at a pace appropriate for all members of the group. If you can ask for your tour guide directly... we recommend Benjamin.

Excellent introduction to the Côte d‘Azur outside of Nice. Comfortable Mercedes van for a maximum of four guests.Please be aware that Eze village is quite a climb up a lot of uneven steps from the parking lot. Not suited for anybody with even the slightest mobility limitation. Everything else was absolutely easy to walk and highly interesting. We had a great time and now have some ideas for a future visit to the area.The driver/guide was very nice and well informed.Pro tip: ask the driver to skip the perfume “factory“. It‘s a cattle drive designed to get huge groups of visitors through an exhibit and into a gift shop and a massive waste of time. If you’re interested in perfume go to Maison Molinard in Nice.

I can highly recommend the "Alpes Maritimes'' tour. On this tour, I visited the following places: Eze, Monaco, St-Paul-de-Vence, Antibes and Cannes. The tour is an excellent way to get a first impression of each of these places, so you can later revisit one of them to spend some more time there if you like. My tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and drove in a calm way. I was lucky enough to be the only participant on the tour, so the places we visited could be tailored to my interests. The places I visited were all beautiful in their own way and it was wonderful to not have to worry about getting from point A to B on my own while also being provided with a wealth of background information from my marvelous tour guide.
