I had an amazing experience on my first ever dive. The whole team was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. A special thank you to Rafael, who was extremely patient, calm, and kind with me. Since it was my first time diving, he took his time to explain everything clearly and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire experience. I truly felt that I was in good hands. We booked a tour directly through the company's website, and it turned out to be an absolute highlight of our trip to Portugal. Our guide, Joao, was extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time explaining the history with incredible detail. He pointed out small details on the buildings that we completely would have missed if he hadn't been there to point them out.The tour took place entirely outdoors, and the setting was quite busy with plenty of other tourists around. However, this was no problem at all for us. It actually worked to our advantage, as we just took more time looking inside one building before moving on. This slower pace was perfect because it allowed us to take more photos as the crowds naturally moved out and away from the area.Joao went above and beyond by sharing extra recommendations for the rest of our journey. Since we are interested in Jewish culture, he gave us excellent tips on other places in Portugal to look for more information, specifically pointing us toward Monsaraz and Lisbon. This tour gave us the perfect historical foundation for the rest of our holiday. If you want a deeply informative and relaxed tour, we highly recommend booking with them! We booked a private tour so we could hear and ask questions relevant to us. We highly recommend a tour in this manner.

I enjoyed our 'whistlestop' tour of Evora with our guide Daniel. Starting with the Roman Temple (not to Diana! but maybe to Ceres) and finishing in the Jardim Publico with the Romantic reconstruction of the ruin. I took in the explanations about Evora that followed how the community wanted to portray the thousands of years of history by embracing the diversity of the past. This vision was led by architect Jose Cinnatti. A visit to a variety of places, through narrow streets, past throngs of tourists, enabled Daniel to tell me the story of his city. Daniel emphasized to me that the diverse culture is why he continues to study the city's history, enabling him to be a great guide embracing the UNESCO ideals.
