Wow. Cool Destinations never disappoints when we book a tour with them. Another exceptional tour experience. Our tour guide was passionate and informative and engaging. We learned so much about the culture and the temples. Thank you to everyone who helps put this together. We will continue to use Cool Destinations as we learn about our beautiful cultures.

Absolutely fascinating!
Our tour guide, Marco, was the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide! He clearly loves his job which made the tour even more fascinating. He answered everyone's questions and made sure we saw and fully understood the history of the temples. I highly recommend going late afternoon because by the time the 2 hour tour is completed, the temples will be lit up which is a beautiful sight to see!

A great day out of Palermo
My wife and I had a fantastic day trip to Agrigento and Villa Romana Del Casale with Eusebio, our funny informative and very helpful driver. Great car, and fantastic driving. He went above and beyond with his help solving a problem with our rental car. We can’t rate our day more highly. If you get a chance- take a tour with him!

Kayak and much more at torre salsa
We had a very fun and pleasant experience on this kayak adventure. Tommy and Valentina took care of everything to make it easy and pleasant for all, adults and children. The kayak ride was easy and relaxing over beautiful waters, we landed a few times to observe the local geological curiosities, talk about sea and science, swim and snorkel around the WWF torre salsa reserve. Tommy is a great guide, fun, entertaining and very knowledgeable on many topics. After about 3 hours we returned to Cala Mambrù, were able to shower, enjoy a great granita to close the adventure, and decided to stay and relax there, enjoy lunch, the sea and more beach fun. We definitely recommend!

Kayak tour. Siculiana marina.
Just do it. You will not regret it. Location is excellent. Clear blue/green water. Our guide Tommy was really cool, very knowledgeable, passionate about the area, friendly, easy going. Excellent equipment and facilities. You kayak a bit, swim a bit, kayak a bit, walk a bit. Kayak back. Absolute value for money.

Excellent if somewhat overpriced tour of the Valley of the Temples

Excellent if somewhat overpriced tour of the Valley of the Temples
Our guide Carmelida was great. Very knowledgeable and skilled. There was a small bit of confusion about the meeting point, due to road construction delays, but it was quickly resolved. Carmelida provided excellent information clearly explained and was friendly and helpful. Our only reservation was with the cost. This is no reflection on Carmelida who earned whatever portion came to her, many times over. There seem to be several levels of tour management between the purchaser and the final product, which likely accounts for the high price.

The guide is fine on the cultural side. In the restaurants part it is not updated. Check before you go because some only open at night and there are some that no longer open.

Wouldn’t call it an “Experience,” but Andrea made it a pleasant drive

Private Agrigento Temples & Coastline Daytrip from Palermo
Taylor_M, Oct 2025
Wouldn’t call it an “Experience,” but Andrea made it a pleasant drive
This is literally just a pick up and drive to Agrigento (Valley of the Temples & Scala) from Palermo, so more than anything for this “experience” the driver matters since it was no less than 4 hours in the vehicle. You still need to book a guide or go about the Valley of the Temples on your own, if you choose. I’m not certain the high cost we paid for just driving to and from Agrigento from Palermo was “worth” it, BUT our driver, Andrea, was great. He was kind and knowledgeable when we asked questions about the areas we were driving through. He even stopped at a roadside area on the way home. and we got some yummy food. Negatives: Tried to pull up wifi like the experience advertised, in the car, and didn’t see anything to connect to, BUT I also didn’t ask. The only other thing, there was one bottle water per person in the car. It would have been nice to have a couple more included. Overall, drive was safe and Andrea was great.

Sicilian Cooking Course Agrigento and Cannolo experience

What a fabulous experience!
What a highlight for our trip. The cooking class was wonderful. Annalisa is a modern, intelligent, amusing and interesting Sicilian woman. You get the best cooking experience, but you also get the best experience in being with a genuine Sicilian woman who makes you feel welcome in her home. Our time together will not be forgotten.

Sicilian Cooking Course Agrigento and Cannolo experience

A very special cooking workshop
At 10 am we were welcomed by Annalisa, our heart-warming hostess for the next few hours, we had booked a Sicilian cooking workshop with her. In a homely environment, she has adapted her interior to the time when her “nonna” cooked, so back in time, great.Under the guidance of Annalisa, we made delicious pasta sauce, pasta, a stuffed fish (including raisins, pine nuts, garlic) and a delicious almond nougat. After the fun and educational cooking workshop, we enjoyed a delicious meal with the results of our cooking skills while enjoying a delicious wine and Annalisa's stories. This activity, which takes about 4 hours, is an absolute recommendation for travelers who have Favare within traveling distance, an unforgettable experience of Italian cuisine.

Guided tour from Agrigento: Sicilian traditions with a farm

Awesome experience, I’d do it again!
Awesome excursion! Mattia, being from Cammarata and being so knowledgeable and articulate, was a great guide, answering all our questions. The visit at the farm was memorable! The owner took the time to demo the cheese making process and gave us a tour of the facility. He also joined us for lunch, that was really great! Mille grazie to all the team!!!
