We had an incredible time at this authentic Sicilian cooking course. It was a magical experience learning how to make five different pastas, while also viewing their beautiful farm in the country. All the ingredients are sourced from their garden. The kind, friendly and talented hosts are excellent instructors! Highly recommend this experience for an authentic and exceptional Sicilian experience!

We had such a fun and memorable experience at this pasta-making class! Vincenzo warmly welcomed us into his home, making us feel comfortable and at ease from the very beginning. We loved enjoying delicious food made with ingredients grown right in their garden, and learning how to make traditional homemade pasta was such a special experience. After all our hard work, sitting down together to enjoy the meal we had prepared was the perfect reward! It was a wonderful experience filled with great food, laughter, and hospitality. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable experience in Sicily!

We cannot express how amazing our time with Annalisa was. She is the most interesting, knowledgable, and entertaining host and a fantastic teacher.We felt totally at home in Annalisa’s kitchen, and her love for Sicilian cuisine was clear from the second we stepped through the door. All of Annalisa’s produce is fresh and organic, sourced either from her own farm (most of what we cooked with was!) or sourced from local, respectable suppliers in Ortigia or neighbouring farms. She is passionate about keeping tradition alive in her cooking, and is so knowledgable about all of the science that goes into Sicilian flavour and technique.We honestly felt like we’d made a friend in Annalisa by the end of our 4 hours, learning not only the tricks of the trade, but about her amazing journey to becoming a personal chef, her brilliant children, and of course, her adorable puppy. Her own extra-virgin olive oil (a Sicilian drop, please) and limoncello are delicious, too.Above all, though, the food we cooked together was absolutely sensational. Our pasta alla Norma was better than any we’d had across Sicily, the polpette di zucchine and dessert were equally wonderful, and we left with a bag of leftovers to enjoy later on. It goes without saying that the wine was also incredible.This was a birthday surprise treat and Annalisa went above and beyond to make it that little bit more special which was really appreciated.Annalisa, we will recommend you to anyone and everyone and hope to see you again soon, maybe next time for one of your famous food tours. We will keep to our promise to show you the real traditional foods you missed in the UK next time you visit - we will cook you a roast and show you how much better Sicilian food is than British.Oh, and make sure your daughter continues with her crocheting - it’s genuinely beautiful and I see another no. 1 entrepreneur in the family before too long.Abbi cura di te e grazie mille! ❤️

Annalisa was the absolute best. She was super welcoming, prepared for every step of the class before we entered, very explanatory of all the backgrounds and process of every dish, and so easy to talk to! You can tell she is so passionate about what she does, and looks forward to making a great relationship with each of her classes!

Our four-hour cooking class with Annalisa could only be described as delightful. The meal we created was delicious.Her apartment/kitchen was set up to easily accommodate our group of five would-be chefs. The menu she had planned for the evening was centered around vegetables from her own organic garden. Her directions and modeling made it easy to follow the step-by-step recipes.The entire evening was relaxed with lots of good wine and even more laughter. We left with full stomachs and full hearts. I would most highly recommend an evening of Sicilian cooking and dining with Annalisa.

Upon arrival Vincenzo and Accursia were very welcoming to their place. The class itself was in depth with the explanation of how pasta is different around italy. The pasta making experience was fantastic, we were taught many different pasta shapes which they helped us perfect to make. While we waited for the pasta to rest, they gave a fine collection of what their farm offers.I highly recommend going here to experience pasta making for the first time. For me, my take away is I can add my knowledge of pasta making to make my carbonara fully authentically and homemade.

A wonderful experience! Vincenzo and his mother Accursia welcomed us into their beautiful home and we spent a gorgeous few hours learning to craft different pastas with ingredients derived from their enchanting kitchen garden. If you come to Sciacca; you must not leave without doing this! We hope to return one day for more lessons!

Participating in Annalisa's cooking class on arancine surprised me positively. Even if I am local, I wanted to try the authenticity of one of the typical Sicilian street food, having fun with friends. Absolutely recommended.

We had a fantastic time at Accursia, with linguistic support from her son Vincenzo. After being welcomed in her home kitchen, we started by prepping the pasta dough, followed by aperitivo with their own produce (you can even purchase some) and a walk through the Sicilian garden. Then back to work - we learned to make multiple types of pasta. It was a lot of fun and Accursia and Vincenzo are incredibly kind people. Last but not least, Accursia prepared our pasta with her homecooked Norma pasta sauce.

Maria and Vincenzo were absolutely amazing! They shared their home, garden, kitchen and culture with us. It was a top notch Sicilian experience and one that left me wanting even more. They treated us like famiglia and it will be one we never forget! Book this now!!!

Learned a lot. Had fun. Nice and funny son with a lovely mother. We saw the garden, tasted local small food from their production. Met a lot of other tourists, from Germany, USA, the Netherlands. Can highly recommend the pasta course.

Fantasticly cozy, and wonderful experience. A family business where you feel welcome and included in the family pastatradition. Good explanations, lovely place, delicious ingredients that are all homemade. We were allowed to see the garden how many raw materials were grown. And then both he and his mother are incredibly cute. We ate our homemade pasta with Mom’s own tomato sauce, fresh basil and fried aubergine at last. Although with the opportunity to buy a little stuff afterwards, so I can make pasta for all my friends and acquaintances at home, with my new knowledge.
