We had the most amazing experience with Giacomo and Alex and genuinely couldn’t recommend this cooking class enough!From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. It really did feel less like a formal cooking class and more like being welcomed into someone’s home for an evening with friends.Giacomo is a professional fresh pasta chef and his knowledge absolutely shines through. He was incredibly patient, friendly and such a brilliant teacher. He taught us how to make two different types of fresh pasta (one with eggs and one without) and then showed us how to cut and shape them in so many different ways, explaining what each shape is traditionally used for along the way. We learned so much without the experience ever feeling rushed or overly technical.It was also so much more than just making pasta. Giacomo prepared gorgeous starters for us, along with delicious sauces to accompany the pasta we had made, and then me and my partner sat at the table to enjoy the meal we had helped to prepare. He served Lambrusco with our meal, which neither of us had really tried before, and we are now completely obsessed with it! To finish, he served us what was genuinely the best tiramisu I have ever had, absolutely incredible.What really stood out was how much Giacomo went above and beyond. After the experience, he even walked us into the town centre and recommended places for us to visit and explore in the beautiful local area, which was such a lovely and thoughtful extra touch.We were also sent all of the photos and videos from the evening afterwards, as well as the recipes, so we can recreate everything at home.This was easily one of the highlights of our trip. We would 100% do it again and I would genuinely love the opportunity to learn more from Giacomo in the future. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and a fantastic teacher. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for giving us such a memorable evening. ❤️

A really enjoyable few hours with Matteo and Eddy - we had been looking forward to the pasta making class and it lived up to expectations❤️ Matteo and Eddy of Rimini were perfect hosts - spritz on arrival with tasty snacks of local pork, cheese, olives and brushetta - thankyou 😋 They taught us how to make 2 types of pasta, it was hands on and we were all pleased with our efforts We then had lunch roasted veg x2, our 2 types of pasta with sauce, followed by the best tiramasu ever! - all the while our drinks were kept refilled Thank you for the perfect class 👌 Matteo & Eddy you are stars 🌟

Lovely people, they hosted us togheter and had really nice chat whit them about life and experiences. It felt like we shared a moment in their life plus we also learned all the tips and tricks of making tagliatelle,ravioli and tiramisu.

We made Lasagna at an in home cooking class. The chef/teacher was very knowledgeable how to make homemade lasagna noodles, belchemel sauce and delicious ragu sauce. It was a delight to meet her mom and husband who joined us for a delicious meal.

Patrizia was an amazing guide. We began in the markets where we were introduced to a range of regional specialities from Rimini. We then went to her beautiful home in the nearby countryside where she taught us 3 unforgettable dishes. A tiramisu, a piada with different fillings and the amazing strozzapretti pasta eith salsiccia ragu sauce. All 3 made by hand. She was a patient and highly skilled cook and watchingher work the pasta gave us new inspiration to cook. Finally we sat down to a beautiful meal with her husband. This is what we love when travelling. I even found out Patrizia made it to the semifinals of the tiramisu world cup in Treviso. This is amazing. She was welcoming, patient and kind as a teacher. You cant miss this tour.

An awesome activity, coupled with learning to cook lovely Italian food with Patricia in her casa and enjoying it afterwards in her bellissimo garden, and to top it off, got to meet lovely Nonna! Highly recommend it!

We enjoyed this wonderful, private cooking experience one on one with Patrizia and her Mum Carla. We were welcomed into her home just out of Rimini where she had prepared all the freshest, local ingredients for our cooking class. The environment immediately felt special, like cooking with friends for dinner and everything was very well prepared. We made a Tiramisu dessert first so it could set in the fridge and straight away we were ‘hands on’. This wasn’t a ‘I’ll show you experience’, we were doing the cooking! Once prepared we were right into the pasta making doing the mixing and kneading. We refreshed with a glass of Prosecco and learned about the method, tips and making the fillings using fresh, local produce. Creating 2 types of pasta, ravioli and cappelletti we set about all the work making these one by one, cutting, filling and shaping. With background Italian music, smiles and laughs were all part of the fun experience. Mum Carla did all the tidy up and cleaning up – we just did all the pasta prep! Dinner was beautifully set up in the alfresco back yard with a running water fountain, gingham table cloth and appetizers Mum Carla has prepared for us; bruschetta, antipasto and vino! We cooked the ravioli together, Patrizia showed us the finishing touches with parmesan and cooking water before we devoured that. Then the cappelletti which was served with a ragout she had already prepared, delicious. We were already full before eating the Tiramisu we prepared, finishing off with a home-made Limoncello. This experience was so personalised, homely and extremely well done. We can highly recommend this, leaving with the skills and knowledge to do confidently do this at home. A four-hour experience usually money can’t buy. 10/10!

I don’t even know where to start. I had the pleasure of spending a day with Patrizia and her lovely family. They showed me around the market, sharing many interesting things and answering all my questions. We bought fresh ricotta for the pasta. Then, we went to her idyllic and beautiful home, which felt like a dream. Patrizia was an excellent and patient teacher, first explaining how to make tiramisu and then guiding me through making the pasta. When everything was ready, we tasted the delicious food. I can’t wait to try making it at home!

Learning to cook from Patrizia was a superb experience. Everything we made was delicious yet her instructions were simple to follow. She guided me through every step (specially rolling the dough part) and gave me some pro tips. I will definitely do this again for other recipes.

Highlight Rimini #1: A wonderful authentic culinary masterclassYesterday, my wife, our two children and I took the culinary masterclass of la nonna Maria at Villa Maris, Rimini. It was a wonderful experience.We were warmly greeted by the entire family and a friend of the house who served as a translator. First, we were introduced to the art of making tagliatelle. We were kindly guided by Maria with the wisdom of a top chef and the kindheartedness of a grandmother. After kneading the dough, we were treated with delightful appetizers.After the dough had sufficiently rested, we cut it into tagliatelle. In my case, it rather resembled papardelle due to the thickness. I haven't mastered the art just yet.The next step was the cooking of the tagliatelle. We were allowed a peak into the beating heart of Romagnan cuisine in the kitchen of the house. The grandson allowed me a taste of the ragu that was softly simmering on the stove prepared four hours earlier by la nonna herself. A pure culinary delight.But of course, the proof of the tagliatelle al ragu is in the tasting. So, we took place at the grand table withvthe entire family to enjoy the fruits of our hard work and it tasted wonderfully, especially due to Maria's ragu. My youngest son took multiple plates. After the main course we enjoyed an espresso and a plate of dolce.Looking back on this experience, we have to admit it was the highlight so far of Rimini. If you truly want to have an authentic culinary Romagnan experience with the family you must attend the cooking class of Maria. Basta!

We cooked in a really lovely garden. Patrizia and her mother both taught us so well and were so warm and welcoming. Zeus was also such a sweet dog who just couldnt get enough belly rubs🥰 At the end of the evening we stayed a chatted and also got to try Patrizias homemade limoncello and orange liqueur, which were fantastic! We will definitely come back🤗

The pasta and tiramisu workshop with Patrizia in her home was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at ease. Patrizia guided us step by step in preparing tiramisu and two different types of fresh pasta, making the process both fun and accessible. After the cooking, we enjoyed a lovely aperitif with delicious bites, accompanied by her homemade Prosecco, while the pasta was being finished and the table prepared. To top it all off, we were treated to homemade limoncello for dessert. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and without a doubt one of the highlights of our week in the Rimini area. A special mention goes to Patrizia’s mother, who was incredibly kind and ensured everything ran smoothly behind the scenes, from preparing the aperitif to taking care of the cleaning. Highly recommended.

We loved the experience with Patrizia. The teaching was so clear and easy to understand, the care Patrizia took in ensuring we understood, and then the final menu was so delicious. I feel like I can easily now make pasta at home. Patrizia’s home was so lovely too and we loved meeting her Mama who was always supporting in the background. Highly recommend

This class was the highlight of our trip! Patrizia made us feel so welcome in her home. Her beautiful gardens and Italian country home create a gorgeous backdrop for a relaxing and fun experience. Patrizia speaks English with grace, but made us feel comfortable to practice our few Italian phrases we knew. Her mother, who is her sous chef was also very kind and funny. Patrizia walked us through every step of making 2 pasta dishes and tiramisu. She kept our wine glasses full and offered us snacks and water while we prepared the meal. We got to meet her husband and son while cooking and it really made it feel like we were guests in a friend’s home. When everything was finished, she and her mother served us our meal on their patio along with some homemade limoncello and moka coffee. She also helped us with calling a taxi to return to our hotel afterward. Patrizia also sends you a copy of all recipes when you are finished so that you can make them again at home. We loved our evening at Patrizia’s house and we can’t wait to make our new recipes for our family and friends at home! Highly recommend making this experience a part of your trip!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of being able to do this experience just the two of us! Patrizia and her family are the sweetest, we felt welcome in her home right from the start. And she also has two adorable pets, one cat and one dog which we were also super happy to meet 😊 She explained to us how to make tiramisu and two different pastas, and everything was incredibly delicious!! We will be absolutely be making these more often at home, thanks Patrizia for a lovely evening and the delicious food!

Our host Patricio and her son, Luco, loved sharing their home and recipes. She asked us to send her a cheese cake recipe. Luco was the translator but Patricio was engaging and it felt like she understood everything we were saying! Definitely recommend this experience and this host!
