Top Providence Half-day Tours

A great way to spend an afternoon! We had a wonderful time discovering history and amazing food right in our own backyard. Having done the tour a few weeks ago, my husband and I have already returned to 2 of the featured restaurants. It's a great way to learn more about the immigrant history that make Providence such a great city (and with such amazing food!) Cam, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience a ton of fun. Definitely check out this tour whether you're in from out of town, or a local, because I guarantee you'll learn something new, have great food, and enjoy your time.

I enjoyed this tour. Ross, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a good history of Providence. His stories re past Rhode Island luminaries was fascinating and his willingness to allow additional time to take pictures is appreciated. Additionally, Ross was very sensitive to those of us with moboliy issues and assisted as needed. Many thanks!! Good tour!

David our guide was full of good stories about all the less than legal activities that happened on Federal Hill back in the day. The food stops along the way added a nice break from the tour as well. I particularly enjoyed the stop at Venda Ravioli. We ended up coming back after the tour to do shopping on our own.

The tour was fantastic! Food was delicious and Kate was wonderful and very informative!!

It was relaxed and David was friendly and easy to talk to. Tour was just over two hours. We got to see so much of the city that was new to us.

David gave us a great experience on the clues and brews tour! I went with a friend, and even though we are Providence locals we learned so much. It was a very fun experience :)

Clues and brews was so fun! Even as a local who is familiar with the breweries, I learned so much about our city from our tour guide David, who told the story in such an engaging way. Highly recommend !

Had a fantastic time this past weekend! It was the perfect day for this tour. Cameron was a joy! The little tidbits of history sprinkled in between the food stops were engaging and very interesting. I had no Idea the Industrial Revolution started in Rohde Island!? The story of each eatery Cameron brought us to were very moving and inspiring, and highlighted what a special community exists in Fox Point. I don’t want to spoil any of surprised, but I think the Pistachio Croisant or the Uighur Lamb skewers were my favorite! Well worth the price, based in the delicious food alone. All in all it took about 3 hours and we all left with fully happy bellies. I will absolutely recommend Mostly Accurate tours for anyone I know traveling to providence.

Ginger was phenomenal and very informative we had a wonderful time . small group with a baby and she was just awesome!would reccomend Ginger for anyone doing the tour

Ginger was a fantastic guide. Pleasant, informative and fun. She definitely added to the whole experience.

Dylan is very knowledgeable and energetic. We learned a lot about Federal Hill. The food experience was also very good.

Dylan was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. His narrations made the tour very enjoyable. The cuisine stops were delicious!

Tour guide was knowledgeable. Learned so much about RI. Russ was kind and considerate of the pace we were able to do.

This bus tour was very informative and interesting. I learned so much about the history and culture of Providence on this bus tour. Our Driver/Tour Guide David was so knowledgeable and had so many interesting “behind the scene” stories. On a day filled with constant rain, David made sure all his attendees were well-attended to, he constantly cleaned the bus windows so we would have a good view. David did a great job and I highly recommend this tour!

We had a blast. The puzzles were not especially challenging but fun. The breweries were great, the story was fascinating and the guide was knowledgeable about everything. Dave was fantastic and made the day even better.

As someone who recently moved back to Rhode Island it was such a pleasure to do this tour and find a whole new list of places I must become a regular at! They could easily accommodate a vegetarian diet and I didn’t feel like I was missing out on any of the authentic cuisines. Tour was a really great mix of learning history, walking and of course eating. Cam shows he has a great knowledge of lesser known facts to keep even a history buff intrigued (which I am certainly not), and I feel like I left with a deeper knowledge of this little city. You can tell each of the restaurants enjoys working with Cam as they would be excited to see him and happily connect with the group on any questions. I’d recommend for parents in town visiting their college kids, corporate groups looking for outings and even Rhode Island natives just looking for a unique way to spend a few hours.
