I have had the privilege of flying twice with Black Hills Balloons. Each time the experience was tremendous. I will definitely fly again.

What an amazing experience! I booked the balloon ride as a surprise for my husband for our 50th Anniversary and it worked out to do the ride on his birthday! I have to admit I hate flying, but after visiting with Damien when I booked the flight, he definitely put me at ease! I was worried about getting in and out of the balloon, but the crew was very kind and helpful! Pat was our pilot and was very knowledgeable, fun and loved listening to him! Smooth takeoff and landing, and it was so peaceful! Ended with a mimosas toast and snacks! We highly recommend the ride - memories to cherish forever!!

Flew on September 2nd and it was absolutely magical! Damian and his crew are the best! This is one adventure worth repeating!

From the moment you walk in - Damien was friendly and welcoming. He kept everyone updated as to the status of the days flight. My first flight was cancelled because of the weather. They were able to fit me in a couple days later before I left for the airport to fly home. My pilot Kaye was fantastic! And all the crew was so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I felt comfortable and safe before, during and after the flight. Fantastic Family-Owned Business. I would fly with them again!

This was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had! I had always been a little apprehensive and don’t know why. Damien made me feel very comfortable just by being himself. He’s very relaxed and reassuring. Safety is his number one concern. He was very informative throughout the flight. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful.If they had more than five stars, this is one company that would definitely deserve it.

Wonderful crew! First time for our family of six! Everyone enjoyed it and it was one of the most relaxing things I’ve ever done. Felt like floating on air, literally! Our pilot, Pat, was great! I would do this again!

The crew was incredibly kind and thoughtful. With fake joints, I don’t bend as easily. They provided a step stool and were ready to assist climbing in and out of the basket.The pilots were funny and shared great stories. It was fabulously peaceful and beautiful.Even watching the set up and packing was cool.I celebrated “no more chemo” with my daughter. They were genuinely happy with me. Wonderful people!Don’t wait! Incredible experience!!! Seeing the sun rose over the mountains was beautiful. So peaceful- and our guide was great too. We felt completely safe. He was very knowledgeable and all around accommodating. Bucket list adventure, worth every penny 🙏🏼🤙🏼

The excursion was phenomenal, not to be missed. And these folks? They’ve got this aced, 100%, top-shelf. From an easy check-in to the champagne toast. You’ll be thrilled, too, I’m so sure.

Our balloon flight experience was great! Being a bit afraid of heights, this did not bother me. It was a very calm, smooth ride. Damian was a wonderful guide.

Amazing guys...made every opertunity insure guests enjoyed the entire adventure. Went out of there way to accommodate a mobility limited guest. I.e. ladder, steps, moving van to accomidate during the flight celebration.

Was an awesome experience my dad has been wanting to do this forever and at a young 84yrs of age we took him on his birthday! Amazing people to work with!!!
