Vermont Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Loved the guide. Especially appreciate it works from wherever you start. We went on multiple days and got to see several area that I know we wouldn't have visited.

Had a fantastic afternoon, Mike and Ben were our guides and were brilliant. Apart from the very poor jokes (which were actually quite funny 🤣)

A lovely day, Aimee took us to many out of the way spots so we could experience the essential Vermont. She researched spots that met our interests. A wonderful experience.

Captains Amelia and Ty provided a fun, comfortable, and informative sailing experience. They shared history and stories of the area. It's evident they are both passionate about what they do.

Nice boat with comfortable seating. Crew effortlessly guided the boat around the lake, and were a lot of fun to talk to.

What a great time. My wife got a gift certificate last year for my birthday (5/2025) but we did not get to use it. I was happy that 16 months later (9/2026) that it was still valid. Her birthday is in the beginning of Oct so this was a combined birthday adventure. It was slightly overcast at the start but by the time we were zipping on the lines it turned into a great day. Our guides were were a lot of fun and knowledgeable...just don't be fooled my Michael's story about being able to tell a sugar maple by licking the bark. The fall foliage was just starting to turn colors (9/21/2026) and I suspect that in another 1-2 weeks it will be peak.

From her first text to the first covered bridge to dropping us at our hotel on the final day, Natalia was an enthusiastic and kind hostess for our "study of Vermont". She is a data bank of Vermont knowledge! Since it was our first time in Vermont, my adult daughter and I did not want the hassle of navigating unfamiliar routes, standing in line for tickets, etc. Natalia had our reservations and tickets pre-arranged for each tour or attraction. We showed up at the arranged time in the common area of the inn and Natalia collected us for the next day of adventure. Natalia handled all the details, leaving us free to enjoy the perfect weather, Vermont, and time with each other. Natalia longtime relationships with local businessowners ensured that her choices for our accomodations and activities, and her recommendations of restaurants were all what i would have chosen for myself. Natalia made our trip relaxing and memorable.

Tour guide was very professional and informative about the area and events of the past. Bus was clean and relaxing

We did a private sailing lesson with Laz, and he was fantastic! He made sailing feel approachable and easy to learn, and he was great to talk to throughout the experience. Highly recommend!

Boat experience was GREAT. Dean is knowledgeable, helpful and gave us a fantastic experience. Sorry to say that we were told by Cool Destinations that the boat was full only to find out when we arrived for the cruise that we were the only people on the boat and there were 4-6 open seats available. Cool Destinations needs to be current on what is available! Next time I am going straight to the company and skipping Cool Destinations
