We loved the entire experience From booking to event. The company was very communicative ahead of time. Also, Joeri was an excellent guide. He connected with us very well blending the righr amount of history, stories, and listening. He was also flexible when making food choices. Very well done.

We had a wonderful guide which makes all the difference in walking tours. She was so enthusiastic about her city and made everything very interesting and insightful.

With our seven, we had a super nice afternoon in Utrecht with our guide Marinka. She guided us through the center of Utrecht, knew how to tell interesting things about the city along the way, and took us to very nice eateries, in our case Greek and Vietnamese. Delicious food! At the end, an original wine tasting near the starting point of the route where we had plenty of time. I wholeheartedly recommend this group activity to everyone.

Our tour guide wasn’t just knowledgeable, she was such a lovely person to chat with and was passionate about the places and food we all ate. The food was absolutely delicious and the walk was a pace that was enjoyable and beautiful to take in. I highly recommend this tour. If I lived in Utrecht, I’d be bookmarking all the restaurants on this tour as my regular haunts. One word of caution upon booking. Be careful of pricing. Different apps will give wildly different prices. Cool Destinations was the accurate price (most reasonable), Cool Destinations was NOT (literally hundreds of dollars more, and they had no explanation for it when I contacted them). Just be careful who you book through, shop around, and then enjoy this amazing tour.

It is an option that I had never considered and that from now on I will keep in mind for future trips. I liked it a lot

Our guide was great and kept us entertained throughout. There was a mix up about who was going on tour. In fact, we had several problems with Cool Destinations throughout the week. Before we left the states, we checked on our tour logistics and were informed that because my initial method of payment didn't work ( my credit card got hacked just before the date of payment) that our booking was cancelled, and that we had to book again. We called Cool Destinations and were told that we needed to rebook on line. However, the three bookings were actually never cancelled and we ended up with duplicate bookings, duplicate texts, duplicate billing, etc. ;even though i responded that we were going to be on the 11am tour, we still got messages about the 10 am tour to Utrecht.). I still need to look into whether I've been double charged for the three tours (Rijksmuseum, Van gogh museum, and walking tour of Utrecht). The guides have all been great, but the internal workings of Cool Destinations have been incredibly frustrating this time around.

Lucy curated an amazing experience for my partner and I. We’re actually moving to the area from the US and thought a private walking tour would give us a great overview and background to the lovely city of Utrecht. It did not disappoint! Lucy provided us with a bit of history, some interesting Dutch cultural education, and recommended some great spots to eat and drink. I’m so happy we booked with her!

A very informative program. Some of the numbered stops are just for directions, so don't be overwhelmed when you first see the map. You may have to refer back to the guide to help trigger the location or to be sure you are going in the right direction. But all-in-all a great tour of Utrecht.

A very nice walk done, been to places we didn't know yet, while there were really Utreggers! The assignments were very diverse, often hilarious and gave a lot of extra info. In short: We enjoyed it! Also very nice that the weather was so beautiful, that was also excellently arranged! 😉

We had received a voucher from friends. It was valid for a year. In that year we could not do the trip due to circumstances. We contacted QULA via email and they extended the validity period by one year without any problems. Super service! You experience that differently. The trip was fun with fun assignments and also takes you to beautiful parts of the city that are not as familiar as they are. Was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

Once we figured out how to navigate this tour (it's not hard, just our inexperience), it was amazing. We downloaded the app and found out that there are so many other places to also use it...we definitely will!!

We had such a great time, it excedeed our expectations!
