Savannah Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Our guide was very informative and entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was hoping to see a spirit which didn’t happen for me. Maybe next time.

We sailed on the 1:00 pm trip. It was the perfect weather day! The narrator was very good and extremely informative. Seeing Fort Jackson salute us was a fun surprise. The ability to go up on top or inside to cool off was a benefit. Drinks were okay. We tried the muffuletta sandwich - it was delicious! We think this is a good value.

Maria and Sam did a great job on our ghost tour. Its a really good way to hear some of the Savannah history mixed in with the spiritual and ghostly rumors and sightings. Thoroughly worth the time and money. The two stops along the way were very interesting too and added depth to the tour.

We had a very informative and fun tour with Harry. He was amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable regarding the history of the cemetery and the imagery within it, the Savannah area, and local lore.

All the guides we had were amazing...each one different, which was fun. We would definitely use Hop On, Hop Off again.

Appreciate the attention to timeliness. Made an effort to contact folk running late to get the rest of us out. Bathrooms and cool waiting area was also appreciated. The tour itself covered lots of ground. Came was adept at both driving and providing nearly nonstop narrative! Great way to get an introduction to this gorgeous city.

This is a wonderful way to see this beautiful city and learn of its history. Had 3 different guides & all were very knowledgeable.

Dan was our guide and he was amazing. Really cares about the history of the city and is a great orator. Was hanging on his every word.

Jovvy, our guide, was a great story teller. Historical facts supporting by interesting stories and further intriguing the group with personal encounters. Highly recommend!

Our guide Bailey was so knowledgeable and lots of fun. She was considerate of the funeral and respectful of the cemetery and its history. We highly recommend her.

We had a great time. Rocky was our tour guide and she was excellent! She did a great job with the history and story telling during our tour and the drink stops along the way were great! My husband and I enjoyed getting to know her as well! As people follow a lot of current and historical true crime, this tour was great! Rocky was knowledgeable, enthusiastic about the history of Savannah and we also enjoyed discussing other true crime topics! We truly enjoyed her and the tour. She was a complete.and total gem!

This tour is an absolute MUST DO!!! We have done lots of tours and this is by far the BEST!!!!

This tour exceed our expectations. The guides were informative while still being entertaining (so many good puns for the dolphins). The boat was simple but clean and comfortable — most importantly everyone had a good view.Best of all we saw tons of wildlife - two pods of dolphins cormorants, herons and bald eagles…oh and cannot forget the tiniest fiddler crab. Good job Tanner fishing him off the floating grass.Would highly recommend this tour for a relaxing ride down the Savannah River to enjoy learning about its essential ecosystem that seems to coexist with the industry along the river.
